Jamafore
Have a FW Apothecary that I need to strip sp I bought some Simple Green. It's in the "Bleach type" gallon jug but I saw it said it was concentrated. So I was wondering if I need to cut it at all or just use it straight. Thank you. Subtle Discord
Nope, don't cut it down, the concentrate is what you want. Give your object a good 24+ hour soak and scrub it with a firm plastic brush. Repeat if necessary. Simple Green should remove all but the most stubborn of paints and leave only stains on the surface in a few nook-and-crannies. Don't worry about the stains, they vanish under the primer. Ovidius Incertus
I dilute a little when I'm doing a mass batch, simply to help take up some volume in my tupperware container (rather than pouring half or three quarters of a bottle away in a go). I soak for at least a day, then go at them with a toothbrush, rinse, inspect and soak again, if necessary.
