Is the skeleton on his shield meant to be a decorative and sculpted facade, or are they meant to be actual bones- maybe an Imperial saint's remains, granting the CAPT an Invulnerable Save against enemy psychic attacks? I am not saying it is bad, because that isn't true, and wouldn't be fair. But it just seems like an "odd riff" on a Primaris marine. The shoes are a bit squared off, and the gold trim is pretty unique for a loyalist marine (that memory serves). I actually quite like the trim and the fact that not many loyalists have that. Great paint job. You’ve nailed the greens! Is your blue recipe the GW recipe?
