Kurgan the Lurker Posted September 6 Author Share Posted September 6 This is a mini from Chapter One of the Army From One Project. I'm using it as part of a scene for my Chapter Two mini.  Originally I was going to use my Rooks, DIY Chapter. But decided their bright red would not go well with the hot pink metallic of the Cyan Monotreme I had posted earlier.  So instead, I went with the Dark Hands Chapter. A Successor of unknown lineage, though if you go to @designjobber40k page opn IG, you can see some reasoning as to why they could be an Iron Hands Successor. I rolled with that since the right hand in this guy was nadfed up (I think, maybe GW did it that way on purpose) so I painted it as a bionic. Now the Dark Hands were originally a brown colored Chapter.   That changed to a semi bright green.  However in both an old, Chapters of the Adeptus Astartes and their modern Primaris rendering, that green looked more like Sons of Horus Green to me.     So I followed @kenshin138 (@rpowell138 on IG) SoH green recipe. You may have seen his Death Guard in White Dwarf, back in the Fat Bloke era.  As with everything in Chapter 2 so far, this mini just fought me. I made a gift of mistakes but I'm rolling with it anyway.
