Charlo Posted October 26, 2014 Share Posted October 26, 2014 Hi all, What boxes of miniature (GW or otherwise!) would you say give the best combined pieces for converting mechanicum forces?I imagine Tau battlesuits and some Necrom boxes are great. along with guardsmen and marines for certain bits.Is there any particular favorites you guys have? Reclusiarch Darius Posted October 27, 2014 Share Posted October 27, 2014 Tau, Eldar and Dark Eldar can all work, although to avoid accusations of heresy I'd heavily convert them ;) Marines have a good variety of guns to mod out, and almost entirely plastic as well, so its very easy to chop them up and mash things together. Almost as bad as when they halved the number of guardsmen in a box EDIT:I can see why now, because they've added the command bits into the same box.
