Totengraber Posted October 28, 2014 Share Posted October 28, 2014 I'm a new AM player, so forgive me if this is answered somewhere I should have seen, but I was reading the Voice of Command and Orders rules in the codex and (unless I misread something) it specifically says that orders cannot be given while embarked in a vehicle. Yet I see a lot of advice on lists here saying to mount your CCS inside a Chimera to give them a safer place from which to dole out orders. How is that possible? Am I missing something? Thanks! CoffeeGrunt Posted October 28, 2014 Share Posted October 28, 2014 The Chimera has a special rule - I believe called Command Vehicle - that allows Orders to be issued from it. It's a good tactic, and also allows you to move your CCS around much faster to throw those Orders down wherever they're needed. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
WarriorFish Posted October 28, 2014 Share Posted October 28, 2014 The rule is "Mobile Command Vehicle" and it is one of the many selling points of the Chimera :) Command squads are low on models so pretty fragile, bundling them aboard a Chimera does much for their survivability and mobility :) Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
