Invictor Tactical Warsuits are done.

Amusingly enough the Dreadwolves use these as prisons  for the Dark Dreamers when  they  cant really control themselves anymore , they  lock them in  these and keep them in stasis then let them loose deep in enemy territory to cause issues for the  enemy while they advance of the foe.

Even a brother completely lost to Morkai  can still serve the Allfather and the needs of the Chapter.

Love the lore idea behind the Invictors - makes total sense with the lighter armor plating, etc. Makes more sense for the Wolves that way than the "Scout Suit" when Wolves tend to scout with less armor and I would think the suit would be a step too far in that situation. But with the explanation you give, it's just releasing a living blender on the enemy...

I love the modification of the axe there.

I had something very similar planned with Logan's axe

Thanks I stole the idea from Lord Ragnarok's thread , he said he found it in a white dwarf.

Thank you !  I am really enjoying this whole thematic idea of the Dreadwolves Dealing with the Wulfen Curse through the use of Deathsworn since we have proof that primaris marines can be affected by the aura of wulfen atleast it lets me use a concept from HH that I really liked and gives me an excuse to have certain units have specialist colors.  ( It also lets me draw on some other HH themes such as the Red Butchers from the World Eaters legion which the idea of locking someone up in their armor until battle is drawn from)

Where are the axes from :smile.:?

The Axes are the ones from the space wolf ven dread kit but with one of the blades cut off.

The Impulsors make me want to convert some kind of prow beastie and hang shields along the grav plating.

You did a great job on it, Lord Blackwood - do you find that the shield option is the most beneficial? I'm definitely thinking about getting a couple of Impulsors.

So the Indomitus Buildout has begun.

Still waiting on 3 more outriders and 3 more  Eradicators , I  made the wolf priest even though I  may not use him just because the sculpt is really really nice and the shoulder  swap was really simple.

The blade guard ancient , and the Captain  I haven't really messed around with , I  plan on using my already made characters  for those roles ,same with the battle leader , I built my own for that so I  will use my own.

Proof of concept for the Blade Guard , fairly happy with this one , will move on to the other two  hopefully this weekend excited to paint these masked heads.

The Bladeguard is well-painted. How will you decorate his base? With an enemy dismembered/decapitated by blows from the mighty Wolf's frostblade?

Ive actually almost run through all the skulls from the citadel skull box i use to decorate the rest of my  armies bases so I think ill buy  another one of those and add like very specific skulls to the Blade guards bases  , its gonna be tough though , I actually think the Blade Guard look awesome but are also very noisy models,  so im going to have to be careful with the skulls I use on their bases since there is already a lot going on with the models ya know ?

I get that a lot of people dont like this model but I really like it ,though getting the shoulder pad on him was a real pain.
