jeremy1391
This list is a potential tournament list. The plan is to infiltrate everything to be in position to unleash fury of the legion once I'm in rapid fire range (to include the imperial fist tac squad with the recon armor vigilator) the apothecaries go here. The veterans are there to put sniper shots into heavy hitters such as big bugs and the like and if need be assault with their melta bombs. The heavy support squad will hang back in a ruin/building etc and lay down heavy fire with their missile launchers and pull anti air duty. The scorpius does what the scorpius does! Nusquam
What kind of event is it? The main weakness of this list is mobility. While you can spread out well and get into key positions early, moving across the battlefield will be tough. If you're spread out they could all move around their immediate areas well enough to cover as much ground as possible but that leaves you spread thin and susceptible to being overwhelmed in certain areas from drop pods, aircraft speeder squadrons and so on. Then they can move on quickly and take out the next unit in line. If it is the latter then your only real ranged anti-vehicle, while potent, is a single unit. The rest is CC. If it's maelstrom you'll have trouble, but normal eternal war is manageable. jeremy1391
Modified maelstrom on two missions. Eternal war on one. Nusquam
Hmn, malestrom favors mobility. Is it just Horus Heresy? Or everything else too? Nusquam
Eldar are going to be your biggest pain by far. Their mobility and firepower will ensure that they dictate who and where they engage. Especially with maelstrom missions. You have staying power with bodies and apothecaries, more so if you're in cover, but it will be an uphill battle. You won't be able to engage their skimmers in CC nor do much to them by way of 9 rockets. If you can free up 25 points you can take 6 Quadmorter Rapiers and have 24 S8 shots with Sunder. That's 2.2 pens against AV12 fliers vs 1 with the Flakk. Not to mention they will tear apart skimmers and force them to jink. Added bonus of the frag rounds for hordes. Eldar might be your only uphill battle though. I can see this list doing well against every other faction. Nusquam
A lot of people don't. In their defense it doesn't actually list what ammo it uses like normal units of that type. It has it in the ranged weapons section.
