Sadly the Deredeo is still in it's un-built state though :O I'll warn now the pics are inbound! A few may be rotated wrong or have a lot of dead space until photobucket updates though! For the three Dreads they are now close to complete. I need to do more layers on the gold as it is currently just base and a wash plus highlight the metal with some runefang, then finally do the force weapons a yellow colour. Only reason the plasma cannons didn't is because I wanted the turret body to be red :) I have some of the predator heavy bolters spare - just need to think of a housing /make them look Deimos-y As for the black, I'll probably do a very subtle bluegrey (like dark reaper) highlight and then dirty it up with some of FWs dust to make it look like my Iron earth basing. Guns are two clipped lascannons, with a mortar on top and a missile launcher to the side - all taken from the IG Heavy Weapons sprue. If i'd had anything to say on the mortars, the missile tube looks better as a sight or range finder imho, I woudl definitely like to see more larger barrels stacked on top of the not-lascannon barrels. Also, i personally think that the overall silhouette may be a bit tall...? for an angled weapon that fires high into the air, keeping a low profile so the barrels can arch upwards for closer targets is key, but hey, it looks good as is now, so don't sweat it too much! Yeah it is a little tall, mainly because I wanted to keep that bit of the servitor in there, but upon more experimenting I will not. "Lascannons" will look better when they've been appropriately drilled methinks! The missile launcher was there as a sort of extra, to make it look more like a modern weapons platform or something aha! With a bit of filing I could always plonk some ML tubes on the "Lascannon" to get that quad look. After some Fiddling I've ome up with a few new ones, personally the last one is the best - it's the most resources intensive but for the price I can probably get the weapons at, still MILES cheaper than actual quads! I was going to leave the armour off, as I want to paint that like the Ad Mech Forces i'm going to (eventually) create, but I suppose I could always buy others and magnetise...
