so i´ve been wanting to try to build some true scale marines, i´ve seen some of them and i´m realy impressed with their looks so i had to try it for my self, so here to follow are some deathwatch minis, they are my interperation of our characters from the rpg game and a small kill team of night lords that may evolve to a warband

i´ll have to re-size the pictures...

i mangaged to dig up 25 terminator legs in my piles och junk so more night lords to come!

thanks,

when it comes to green stuff i don´t consider my self good, not eaven average, but i´m quite happy with the resault on these, no i don´t use any techniques, i try to make a base or a foundations first with some green stuff and when it have cured i´ll make the details and try to wait about 15-20 minutes before i start to sculpt, and a tube tool is a realy great supplement to sculpting tools, i´ll use the same water when i sculpt as i use when i paint, ordinaru food oil is good when you are making thin sheets of green stuff, like for a cloak or hood

i´m currently trying to figure out what i should use as a commander for the night lords, so i was going thru some old codexes and found this pic...

no, he dont fitt as a hq for my NL but a true scale of him would be fun to do....

There will be one character left to do for the dw squad. My own, canstantin of the crimson fist. A huge devestator marine. He might even have replaceable arms ^^

I guess that I'll start paint them when they are all done.

Yes I've considered talos or decimus as the warband leader, but I'm pretty sure there will be a vandread character. Either as a fully fledged dp or as a mutated lord. At least 5 of the coming marines will be raptors.

And I hope I'll have time for a wip shot of fabius to night :)

Your work is impressive. As for the picture, do you really intend to make a "true scale" model of Fabius Bile? He might work better as a Night Lords Apothecary than you think- see Variel the Flayer (admittedly a former Astral Claws/Red Corsairs member, though the Night Lords' "Prophet" welcomed him as a brother) in Aaron Dembski-Bowden's novels.
