Jolemai
In Imperial Armour volume two Second Edition, page 151 it talks about the Relic Javelin Attack Speeder. Part of the blurb says: ...All manner of grav vehicles, battle tanks and flyers were once fielded, including the Sky Hunter jetbikes, the Orgus Flyer and the Javelin Attack Speeder. Of these, only the Javelin survives into the 41st millenium... I was wonder if anyone knew what the Orgus Flyer was. Olis
I honestly have no idea but my brain thinks it might be some huge hover-tank. It does that sometimes. I'd certainly like to find out. Jolemai
Surely not the infamous deodorant tank? Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302677-orgus-flyer-anyone/#findComment-3933340 Share on other sites
zedmeister
Ahh, that old gem from the Rogue Trader book. I reckon that the Orgus will be one of the new Marine flyers http://i4.photobucket.com/albums/y115/Ork_Dreadnought/rogue-trader-orgus-flyer.jpg The Deodorant tank is, I reckon, the often repeated Jocasta pattern grav-attack! Hesh Kadesh
At first glance, I'd assumed it was a mispelled Argus Lighter, but that doesn't make sense as the Legiones neither fielded them, and they are present in 40K (even if they are related to secondary and tertiary roles). An antigrav Ornithopter - might be the prelude to the Storm Talon - small lightly armoured 1 man maneuverable attack craft with a pair of stumpy wings. Rather than using Anti-grav tech, the Storm potato uses conventional engines. JeffTibbetts
Yeah, that pic is the Orgus. There was a piece of art for it in RT as well. EDIT: I just looked through RT and didn't find the art. Maybe I'm imagining it. Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/302677-orgus-flyer-anyone/#findComment-3933367 Share on other sites
