Thanks for all the nice comments.  I will be spending some time finishing my Imperial Fists intercessor squad for a few days, then I may start working on the Terminator Chaplain for my BA as practice for painting black..  Because after that, I will be painting this bad boy:

Not BA, but cool as hell anyway :)

Not impossible to make him BA :whistling:

Good work on the Speeder!

I don't paint BA Primaris, if I convert him into a simple Techmarine that will be Imperial Fists.  I will probably just paint him as he is, as a project.

I know I said I don't paint BA Primaris, but this just came from the printer, and I even made a test color scheme for it in impcat.

I am going for a darker, and slightly more muted/pastel pallette with this than my oldmarine Blood Angels (and the studio look). We'll see how it turns out.

Proper photo of my 2nd Tactical Squad, with basing and all.

I'm not a big fan of most recent edition changes to the game and models but trying to fit them onto that 25mm movement tray made me appreciate the move to 32mm bases..

Experimenting with photography, so here is a reshoot of something I painted back in 2011:

Kind of crazy to think I painted this with just FolkArt craftpaints..

I find your older photos to be somehow sharper. It's as if you lack focus. Are you taking the pictures from closer proximity now?

I'm also wondering how your models would look on a darker background. You have a generally dark, rich base color and this makes a stark contrast with the white background.
