Much as I love the look of my Deimos Pred w/Magna-melta, I'm glad I thought to magnetize the gun - too much squish for not enough oomf from that's too close range. depthcharge12 Posted February 21, 2015 Share Posted February 21, 2015 Probably better for taking on contemptors that might be charging up the field or possibly a lucky (and I stress lucky) hit on a Titan that strips off more hull points. I'd say take a Deredeo lol 4 twin linked BS5 shots at S8 with sunder. You're on average stripping off 2 hull points from an AV13 vehicle with that iirc. Moonstalker Posted February 22, 2015 Share Posted February 22, 2015 It's (very small) niche is to bring a blast weapon in a Predator squadron. Run down this checklist: 1. Do you have a Predator Squadron already? 2. Are your Heavy Support slots full? 3. Do you need/want something like a Vindicator?
