Carlson793
So I've got a 'squad' of Firedrakes prime red and ready for paint. I've decided from the start that one of the 'drakes will be modeled as a Primus Medicae ('But wait,' I hear you say, 'that'll leave you with too few 'Drakes for a table-ready squad!' 'Why yes,' I respond,'Can you think of a better reason to order in a second set of Firedrakes?'). I've ordered in Terminator Apothecary bits, but now I have a concern. Would it look better, more Age of Darkness to order in an FW Apothecary Detachment to scavenge parts for Primus Medicae? Bits I've ordered... http://i.ebayimg.com/00/s/MTYwMFgxNjAw/z/zX4AAOxyaTxTWCOU/$_57.JPG Bits I'm now thinking about... http://www.forgeworld.co.uk/Images/Product/AlternativeFW/xlarge/apoth13.jpg In either case, the idea is A) to retain as much of the Firedrake hammer arm (including hammer) as possible, with B.) the narthecium being added, including as much of the tubing as point A will allow. Thoughts? (Huh... And posting that FW Apothecary pic, I just realized that, for my Augustus' Arena entry, what I thought was a gate in the mold - and thus removed - was actually a vial sticking out perpendicular to the narthecium.)
