Decision time,

It might be the tongue (again with the tongues :p) or the horns that is off-putting to me, but it doesn't seem very 8th Legion does it?

Remove it entirely?

Try to alter the sculpt in some minor way?

Swap it out, or some of it, for something entirely different?

Suggestions for improving the shoulder pad is most welcome.

As Hyaenidae said, but replace the horns with batwings.

NIce to see the return. First thing I imagined would be the switching of the horns to wings on that pad, and chopping of the tounge.

If you're going to remove the tongue, I recommend sculpting in some sharper teeth/extended canines or the like.  It'd pair well with the wings!

I found an old skull in my bits box that might work better than the daemon head.

So the tongue is out, skull and greenstuff wings it is.

Now I am off to find my greenstuff, in a crate somewhere.
