Um...welcome to the forum...next time read the thread before enthusiastically repeating what has already been said, like "Another thing to keep in mind, every weapon can fire at a different target"  It's kinda rude to advertise that you want us to read what you wrote when you didn't read what other people wrote first....

I'm wanting a baneblade, badly, unfortunately they are costly. I have decided though that the first one I get will be the Baneblade/hellhammer because how can I ignore that main gun. It would be an excellent addition to my knight. the second will be one of the superheavy transport variants, and the third will be the titan hunter variants. All magnetized of course, If I could figure out how to build it right, I'd just make the whole bloody thing swap-able so I could run 2 stormlords, or 2 baneblades or any combination of whatever, we'll see once I have purchased one of the kits.

A friend of mine has done this, and can operate any of the "fixed" options. His troop compartment is available, though I am not certain if all of those variants actually use it. Personally, I can't ignore how good looking the standard variant is, though that turret feels inadequate for a gun that size.

A friend of mine did something similar. I don't know how the hull goes together, so I don't know how I'll make it work, if I even can. But once I get a look at how the thing goes together, I might be able to figure out how to make the hull so that I can swap between the fixed gun variants and the turreted variants.

Ok, yes, you're right, I should have looked in the resources, but I'm sure I'd have found it if I went looking for it. As I don't have a baneblade yet, the point is moot. I will say that when I do purchase Baneblades, I will fully magnetize them so that I can use any variant that suits my needs.

Sir... I appreciate the "warm welcome"... Sense my sarcasm please. I did read the entire thread and I posted how I like to run my Stormlord and gave stats on the damage output of the configuration I have. You quoted only the last line in my entire post as repetitive. Just hit the like button and move on.

I'm not a mod, but i'm going to nip this one in the bud. Sanguine, he didn't say that you whole post was repetitive, but he was saying that you basically had us read your post, only to have you tell us something that had already been said a few posts earlier, as if it had not been mentioned. We understand if you had posted at the same time as another who mentioned it. Do not be a jerk to the other members (especially the ones who've been here longer, as they're going to be the ones who are most helpful), or the mods (read: Commisariat) will get involved. Friendly discussions please.

March probably could have worded it better, but your conduct was out of line. Do not be an internet tough guy.

As much as I love sarcasm it doesn't translate well on the Internet but there is nothing wrong with people voicing the same opinion on a matter. All post equally no matter their post count, years of membership or any other metric and I expect to see new members welcomed appropriately.

If you see something that may be of concern use the report button and move on, please do not get involved needlessly. If you have any questions please let me know. Thanks.

All opinions are welcome - all members are welcome... end of story.

We have all, at some point, repeated something that someone else has already written either in error or to reinforce that statement.

As The Lord Commissar writes, sarcasm does not work on the internet and written text can always be misconstrued as a large percentage of human communication uses a mixture of verbal (text) combined with facial expressions and body language to reach the correct context.

Without getting into bolt pistol pointing about who wrote what to whom, in which context and why I would recommend that all take a step back, take a deep breath and reconsider before returning to work for the glory of The Imperium and The Emperor.

That is all.

I've got a tingly feeling that the bundle of Bullgryns with the Stormlord will be an upcoming formation. I can hope, anyways. It makes sense, since the 40-slot transport section can hold nine "very bulky" models.

I like it...almost as much as I like loading six speshul weapons squads in the back...eighteen bonus heavies that can target six different enemies if needed...YUM!!!

I am a big fan of the Hellhammer. The few times I have deployed it, it did great work. While the short range of it becomes problematic on larger tables, it will kill almost anything once it gets into range. Its low BS can be a problem with scatter, but in an Apocalypse game that is rarely a huge issue. Anything T5 or less will vaporize beneath its gaze, especially with the one-two punch of the main gun along with the bow-mounted cannon.

I run mine with the TL HB sponsons for cleanup work, as I prefer to keep it away from antitank units and rely on the heavy bolters to keep them from getting too close.

So wait, Can you put more than one squad from a platoon in a transport if the capacity is big enough? I thought only one unit could embark on a transport, or are Superheavies different?

Yeah super heavy transports can carry multiple units. How do you think the Thunderhawk fills a 30 man capacity?

Honestly I hadn't thought about it, but it makes sense, Now I know!

I now have four Super Heavies, a Stormblade, two Shadowswords, and a Baneblade. Only the Baneblade has fired its guns in anger. It certainly demands respect.

But if you are asking about which to field; what kind of opponents are you facing? That can determine your choice. What kind of terrain are you encountering? Is it open, it dense?

For me it all comes down to what looks best. I'm usually the fluff opponent as opposed to the win at all costs types. It's an age thing I am told.
