The Imperial Forces took heavy casualties fighting an alliance of Chaos and Xenos forces, leading to a mass reorganization of available forces. Entire Imperial Guard regiments were destroyed, and approximately seven-hundred loyalist Space Marines were killed. The handful of minor Orders of the Adepta Sororitas were also equally devastated. The Order of the Seven Roses, the Order of His Light, and the Order of Ice and Fire were all but lost, leaving only a handful of Sisters in each. It was Sister Gywnevere, former Battle Sister of the Order of Ice and Fire, who rose to prominence and rebuilt the shattered Orders into the Order of the Dark Soul. Significant Battles: So far, the Order of the Dark Soul has yet to be tested in battle. Many of its Battle Sisters are veterans of the Faram Crusade, and its many slaughters, but most are new recruits, having not seen real combat yet. But, with inpending rumours of the 13th Black Crusade, perhaps the Sisters of the Order of the Dark Soul shall be tested sooner, rather than later...
