the rotten corpse was just the codename for the bi-monthly painting challenge on Gilgamesh.

 

no idea where they get the ideas for those codenames though.

Nearly One year since i have painted dark Angels. 

 Here's a peep of something i am working on. There are 2 more aggressors out of the photo.

nothing special, but I tried applying pigments on the feet. I guess it means I will have to come back to my whole army for this touch up.

however not in the 2-3 next months as I have other things to paint.

As I am planning to attend a bit apocalypse game (1000powerlevel per player, fully painted and based mandatory) I have to paint some stuff.

 

so here is what I am currently working on.

Jeepers, how many normal points is 1000PL and how much more do you have to go?

Wait... just checked, about 17.5 pts per PL, so 17,500ish per Player.

Well I'll be going with everything I have painted. so yeah it's a lot.

l'll get the whole 3rd company (100+ marines with vehicules), some 4th (about 45 marines), some 5th (20 or so), a little bit of 10th (20 marines). and some RW and DW of course.

With this a friend is letting me 3 IK, and i'll be joiging with some inquisition (inquisitor, tempestus scions and battle sistaz) and some deathwatch I still need to paint. 

 

I'll get you a photo once I have everything.

arf, I just got informed that the Dead War is cancelled. (10ed coming, not enough players, not enough time for the organisation).

 

But i'll finish my started minis and a few others waiting. but unfortunately, there will be no big apocalypse game this year.

so, the convention cancelled, it gives me more time to do some useless details.

so. my apocalypse game has been cancelled. nevertheless I have painted some minis.

some would need some additionnal linings, but as I paint with Gilgamesh Call to arms website, I have deadlines to bring minis to the tabletop.

ou don't have to follow an army construction idea. you just paint what you want, when you want. it could be 5 units or just 1 character. the duration of the sessions are usually of 2 months.

 

From there, here is what I painted lately.

a captain in photos armour.

and a little effect. I am not totally happy with the result. I'll do better next time.

then 2 10men squads of intercessors.

Hello people, how are you all?

 

I have been kinda busy (big storm taking by surprise the whole city...), but I have started an old project. a leviathan dread.

 

 

he'll be walking over a night lords rhino doors. they are not finished.

I think the transitionning effect is better than with the phobos captain. Now I haven't put texture paint on the cape. what do you think?
