Brother Vidius
So due to the new Skitarii releases and me working away on a Loyalist Mechanichum force I finally decided to take the plunge and get a Titan! I'll be ordering it at the end of the month and think I've settled upon a Warhound, to start with at least Now in terms of kits like this I'm relatively inexperienced. I'm looking for some tips on putting it together, including pinning, magnets and recommended tools? Now it'll be a traitor Titan, originally I had planned on doing a Legio Mortis Warhound but I'm now undecided. I'm now swaying between Mortis or Fureans, or perhaps another less well known Legio. What do you guys think? I'll also be doing a Skitarii maniple to support it so will also need to work out a scheme for them! This will no doubt lead to Legio Cybernetica/Ordo Reductor detachments as well. Any help would be greatly appreciated! Atia
i'll use the Legio Fureans base scheme for all my support units http://www.fotos-hochladen.net/uploads/latestkwxav4tgzi.jpg Legio Cybernetica and Ordo Reductor: dark grey/black bodies, yellow shoulders, dark-gold trims, dark metal Skitarii: basically the Mars scheme, but with yellow robes instead of red ones (so you have again the Fureans scheme - yellow/black/gold/metal) as for Knights - i'm not sure ... i don't want to use Makabius for them (as they are more the slaves of Mortarion), and the LF itself doesn't has a "main allied" Knight House :/ ... maybe i'll go with Atrax, Æthegn or Morbidia ... that said, it would be AWESOME to have all the great traitor Legions here - i know that WoT want to make some Tempestus Titans and forces - and Legio Mortis would be ace (you could/should give your Skitarii Skullmasks/-faces) and atleast here, "new" Legio Mortis support units could use the same base-scheme as my Fureans, but with red instead of yellow^^ Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/306112-titan-dilemma/#findComment-4007782 Share on other sites
Azekellon
Well, seeing as red ones go fasta', and the yellow ones go splodey-boom harder.... Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/306112-titan-dilemma/#findComment-4007863 Share on other sites
Marshal Loss
My two favourites are the Traitor Tempestus (Book 4) and Tigers Eyes, so out of the two you're choosing between I'd say Tigers Eyes! Such a distinctive colour scheme Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/306112-titan-dilemma/#findComment-4007867 Share on other sites
Brother Vidius
Thanks guys! @Atia-I do love the Fureans scheme but as you say, seeing the three major Traitor Legios would be awesome! A sworn Knight house would be a great project as well actually, need to do some research on that. How is your Reaver coming along? Was it a pain to build? I love the Reaver so much! In terms of the skulls, I did think of doing that! Possibly using the skull helmet from the Fantasy Chaos warriors on the units Alphas? @Marshal Loss-I do quite like the Tempestus scheme as well! Skitarii wearing blue could be nice actually! Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/306112-titan-dilemma/#findComment-4008062 Share on other sites
