My thanks to the good Captain Semper for running yet another cracking ETL and my brothers and sisters fighting the good fight for the imperial forces this year!

 

For me it's now time to kick back with a nice brew and enjoy everybody else's great work! B)

Well done Sith! You got some nice models out of it, your scheme comes out very well. A well earned break is yours :tu:

 

I think we need to see some more completions though if the shame and failure of the previous year is to be erased...

Greetings, Agents of the Sororitas, in this, the final week of ETL.  It is I, Malisteen, of the Chaos forums!  I really have to hand it to you all, you've put up a good fight, and even now, at the end, the Forces of the Imperium are still within striking distance of victory.  Cheers for you!  Of course, we know you won't win.  Victory will once again go to the dark powers of Chaos, another bauble to adorn the Despoiler's trophy racks.

 

What's that? You... You think you could still win? Well, I'm certainly not going to tell you such a victory is impossible, not if you won't listen to your own hearts, which already know this to be true.  Instead I shall appeal to your minds.  We are, after all, rational beings.  Have you considered what an Imperial victory in this ETL would cost the Bolter and Chainsword?  The rich prize of US currency that you would divert from these forums by your selfish actions? Did you not know that the B&C would rake in a stunning windfall of FIFTY AMERICAN DOLLARS should Chaos remain in first place and claim the ultimate prize, at a time when such absurdly generous donations are most needed?

 

Let that sink into your minds as you work on your vows.  Let the knowledge that victory for you would mean a loss for all slow your hands and drain your motivation away.  Surely losing to Chaos is no failure if it means the forum as a whole would flourish?  It's no shame to come in second.  Painting is hard work, nobody would blame you if you couldn't quite finish in time.  Hell, with the mighty influx of funding that awaits, they might even thank you!  After all, who would pay to keep this boat afloat if the Imperial boards win the ETL?  Nobody, that's who.  So do yourself and everyone you know a favor.  Put down the brush.  Catch up on that sleep you've been missing.  Watch some cartoons.  Let Chaos win their silly forum game, you're above all that.

Greetings Daughters of the Emperor.

 

I come here bearing grim tidings. Currently the Realm of Chaos has more points in completed vows and a higher completion rate than the Forces of the Imperium, giving them a strong lead over us. The Codex Astartes, Age of Darkness and other Marine forums are all nipping at our heels. If something isn't done, then we're not just going to miss out on first place, we're going to be languishing in fourth or fifth place.

 

The Adeptus Sororitas, defenders of the Imperial Creed, currently have a completion rate of just over 35%, far below the Forces of the Imperium's average of 57%. You're not the lowest in the alliance, but you are lagging behind the majority of us. Do you want to go down in history as failing the Emperor and letting heretics and mutants get the better of us? Do you want to be remembered as having let the Mechanicus, Inquisition and Millitarum carry you to the finish line?

 

You need to push your completion rate above 50%, preferably more, if we are to stand a chance of beating the Traitors. That's 500 points you need to get done before the weekend, just one or two more vows. Prove to the world that the Sororitas are not a dead faction and stand alongside your brothers and sisters from the Forces of the Imperium.

 

Stand now Sisters, let all see the light of your faith push back the darkness and prevent the ETL falling to the foul forces of Chaos a second time.

I am not going to make it.

 

An unexpected funeral and a sudden pile-up of deadlines at work consumed all of my painting time in the last two weeks.

 

I suppose I must construct and paint that Penitent Engine now...

The deadline is tomorrow, so there's plenty of time yet ;) Not that it matters, a completion is a completion! Well done :D I like the wings and the banner, they turned out very nicely and red robes look good :tu:
