I Captain Semper, Member of the Inner Circle, the Master of Recruits vow that I will paint to the best of my ability, a Company Master (the DV model) with artificer armour and and Monster Slayer of Caliban to a total of 155pts by Aug 1, 2015.

For my fourth vow, I will complete 3 3-man Ravenwing Bike Squads (1 with 2 meltaguns and veteran sergeant upgrade) for a total of 255 points.

There is some extra ordinary work being displayed here... well done all those who have completed their initial vows.

 

Brother Arkley: So sorry to hear of your medical issues. Withdraw to fight another day brother. One thing we know for sure is there will be another ETL next year!

 

Now, to everyone else, you all should know of the troubles in Captain Semper's homeland.... So let's go win this event for him!! Or at least go down fighting..... Let us see if we can get our completion rate as high as possible!

I, Cerroneth, Ancient Dreadnaught of Painting, announce the completion of my forth vow.

For my fifth vow, I will paint, base, and assemble a Chapter Master, with Relic Blade, Storm Shield, Artificer Armor, and Jump Pack for 165 points.

Greetings brothers.

I have completed vow #3.

These guys have been sitting at 98% for three weeks. The new codex made me question my Deathwing Assault direction. I'm glad to have finally finished them.

I may squeeze in another vow, but I need to get something assembled first.

I have to say, I came back to the hobby right before the start of this years' E Tenebrae Lux and I am super motivated, but even I find it hard to simply take the time to paint in the summer, when the weather is so great.

 

Having said that, I spent all day yesterday in a basement finishing one part of my vow.

 

I present, 5 Veterans

Let's try that again!  Vow #1 Complete (at last!).  Please meet Sgt Kushiel and his Ravenwing, with their Librarian counterpart:

I have probably gone further with them than I expected, and couldn't just leave them driving on black plastic...

 

I have posted more detailed pics on my ETL WIP (link below) and would love to hear your C&C if you have time.

Well, my perfomance in this ETL was far worse than the last two, only two vows as oposed to five, but i simply had no motivation to paint. Ha well, maybe next time. sleep.png

Anyhoo, at least i completed my second vow.

Devastator Squad with missiles (Note-I had to change the Sergeant model I used as the other one went walk about into a squad of tactical marines and was lost to me for several weeks hope that's alright!)

That's a total of 740 pts. Sadly I don't think I have time for any more but I'm very pleased to have managed to get this lot done whilst settling in to a new house and job!
