Actually I'm lucky because for odd reasons I thought that ETL on 31st of August hence wasn't in a hurry... I've decided to finish it today for keeping the possibility of another vow...

 

Good that I haven't been lazy one week more...

Love the Storm Eagle! How hard was the assembly? I keep hoping they might fix the mold issues on that model...

Actually the kit itself wasn't that bad but I regret that FW didn't base its kit on more plastic pieces from the storm raven. This would have resolve fitting issues.

The principal reason is the length of some pieces (lateral and bottom parts) whatever careful their process maybe, they are so long that the HAVE to me twisted + having a 1mm error is not important on a short pieces : it's REALLY important on a long piece because 1mm become 5+mm at the other side.

I know the picture is not the best, but I think you can see the models have been completed, so I can post some pictures at a later date. All the models are in a state where I's have no issue with fielding them on the battlefield.

It's been a pleasure painting with you. Like I said before, the timing of ETL is pretty horrible for me, cause I have so little time at home in the summer and I had loads of potential vows lined up like a amoury of Caliban themed vow (LR, Pred, Vindicator and WW) and a Ravenwing themed one(Samael + 4 LS)

Alas, I might make a personal new topic here, since my WiP forum topic is kinda dead.

Angel Veto: Just show us the pic in any shape or form in order to record your completion and sleep at night. Then, when your photo equipment arrives you should feel free to post as many pics as you like... ;)

Thanks Captain Semper. Glad to have finally cleared my name with bolt and flame... I mean brush and paint.

 

Depending on when I get my paint station in the mail I may be able to do a rush job for a third vow. Building the models now, 2x vindicators, predator annihilator and LSV. Maybe even an NJF and a second LSV if it comes tomorrow

 

@teetengee I also see more models than vowed here. Copy and paste error?

Won't be able to do a third vow. Got my spray booth today in the mail, but after specifying I wanted the one with a built in grounded cord they sent me the one with a two prong ac adapter. Have not heard back from them yet either. I guess I'll just keep building!

Well I'm going to call this one complete. I'm leaving town over the weekend so I'm going to have to cut it a little shorter. I'm happy to the point they are at, it's just a few little details here and there that I can live with. I'll take a better picture with my camera on Sunday for the gallery. I present, the 4th Company Veterans, led by Company Master Pahadron

Company Master Pahadron resides on the Battle Barge The Pursuer which is currently engaged in a campaign against a Necron tomb world. In his early years as a battle-brother he had served in Azrael's command squad in countless campaigns against the horrors Chaos. He fought with such fervor that Azrael himself once had to restrain him in order to keep selected prisoners from being killed prior to their interrogations. Over time that fury hasn't subsided, it has changed. What used to be blind fury has become calculated retribution. Pahadron's battle company sees more conflicts with Chaos than any other company in the chapter, which of course means that the 4th take more prisoners than any other Company in the chapter. As a result, Pahadron and his Astartes have earned the interest of both Sapphon, Grand Master of the Chaplains, and Ezekiel, The Keeper of the keys for both famous and infamous reasons.
During his service as Company Master of the 4th, Pahadron has rescued countless Imperial Worlds from the Black Legion forces, stood with his Chapter against a Tyranid Hive Fleet, prevented a Dark Eldar Raid from completely overrunning a vital hive world, but most importantly has continued to hunt The Fallen all of these years....

It took me way too long to finish this but I'm done! Later on a few touch ups will be needed, but I'm happy with them.

Not my best quality but they are done. Now I'm driving off to a family my emergency. The devastator squad in the back don't have decals due to a lack of them at the moment.
