Not the hugest of projects but am really busy, and this is my first proper foray into vehicle conversions and using greenstuff so didnt want to take on too much in one go :)

Welcome Dan! Im curious to see your vindicator. Im trying to work out a way to convert mine where they can go back and forth d Rom the two versions.

Ive taken 2 'right arm' TWLC arms off my dreadnoughts, chopped the cannon/sights off the front of one and stuck em on the back so i could revers it (i thin you can buy left handed dread LC arms off forgeworld to avoid this step) and put them together in a block, and then slotted that into the front of a rhino chassis i cut a big hole in the front of. 

 

Ive then used a dreadnought missle launcher arm and various bits of leftover plasma cannon 'grilling' to make the power capacitor.

 

I need to do a bit of greenstuffing to fill up a few holes and make the front armour look a bit heavier, but fairly pleased with it so far as the first conversion on this scale ive ever done.

 

Will try post some picks up later cos it'll probably make much more sense :)

ETL IV - SECOND WEEKLY UPDATE

As we enter Week 3 we come face-to-face Week 3 Blues! That means that there is a sharp drop in new recruits before it speeds up again in Week 4. Now if you can maintain the flow of new recruits and avoid the blues you'll be in a much better position once Week 4 hits! Keep this in mind!

Trying to avoid those "three week blues" but the weather isn't making it easy. It's been raining consistently for two weeks, with breaks here and there while I am working. Which would be fine, but I need to prime. I finally went and primed my Fenrisian Wolves in between showers as it is supposed to stop raining tomorrow... when it starts snowing. I'm going to still wait for more optimal conditions to get the TW Lord, IP, and RP primed, however.

The important thing is to get as many of your brothers aboard! The Week-3 blues is a temporary drop in sign-up activity followed by a frenzied catching up in Week-4. Now if you manage to keep reinforcements flowing then you'll have a significant advantage come Week-4! ;)

I vow for the Honor of the Sons of Thunder that I'll have 385 points completed before August 1st for the SW faction. This vow is a venerable dreadnought with smoke launchers, axe and shield, and Murderfang, both in pods with deathwind missile launchers.

Yah, the shield is a rhino door...the Sons of Thunder are proud, but not wealthy :)

The Murderfang is a DC dread with the blood drops removed. Given the points cost and obvious similarities between both I hope it's a decent counts-as for the ETL, but if it's not let me know and I'll update the vow.
