@ Vesper: A timely intervention! Well done Vesper. Was it straight forward to put it together? I keep hearing horror stories about this kit... Regardless, congratulations on your completion. Any plans to re-vow?

 

@ MyDaemonCallista: I've seen your work last year and thought I was prepared for the awesomeness attack. I wasn't! This is extremely high quality award winning stuff man - you should be rightfully proud! 

 

@ Augustus: This Scorpion... so excited to see it happening... :devil:

 

@ SlaveToDarkness: Great progress mate, but I'm sure you can do better on the photo taking front... ;)

 

@ Steve Shields: this is impressive - plain and simple! You put a lot of effort in it and it shows. I have to congratulate you for tackling such a large and complex model to the level that you did. Bravo!

 

@ Slayer le Boucher: Well, that's original! :o A huge cyclopic skull with additional eye sockets and tusks? Well that's the true meaning of Chaos - you never know what will hit you next! :D Congratulations Slayer, this is certainly an impressive piece. I believe you have other items in your vow too, or are they done too? Let me know...

 It is kind of a pain to put together, not gonna lie. It's a lot of extra work to make some key parts willing to fit together.

I Carrack rise to the challenge of E Tenebrae Lux and vow to conplete one Chaos Lord (TDA, Mark of Khorne, Axe of Blind Fury, combi-melta, gift of mutation, and combat familiar) for a total of 182 points. On or before August 1st. Success will bring eternal glory to the Black Maw Warband. Failure will make me wallow in shame, possibly cry a little, and wear the badge of the Oathbreaker until years end.

I, Vesper, rise again to the challenge of E Tenebrae Lux and vow to conplete a Chaos Space Marines squad (10 CSMs + 1 plasma rifle + 1 heavy bolter + power sword) for a total of 180 points. On or before Aigust 1st. Success will bring eternal glory to the Black Legion. Failure will make me wear the badge of the Oathbreaker until years end.

To be fair, they were Black Legionnaires before going Sons of Malice and then Night Lords. Now, they're getting back home. smile.png

You sure they aren't alpha legion? msn-wink.gif

I almost switched to AL a few years back, but I was really fond of that scheme which proved to be too much of a pain to accomplish :

Still loads to do but had a good crack at it last night; Urkrathos getting there now. Wasn't 100% on his eyes as they are at odds with the rest of the army, but the artwork depicts him specifically only with blue glowing eyes out of Abaddon's Chosen, so , yanno, blue it is. Growing on me however biggrin.png

@Midnight: Where is that face from?

Also, to prove that creating spreadsheets is not all I have been doing with my time, here is a progress pic for my vow. Still need basing, highlighting, and blood.

(ignore the guys in the bottom, they aren't part of the vow, even though they are part of the unit. They started at the prewash state so didn't get to count.
