I Bad Santa rise to the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete:

- Chaos Bikers squad (2 x plasma gun, melta bombs) - 105 pts
- Havocs squad (6 man, 3 x lascannon) - 148 pts

from Chaos Space Marines Codex of total value 253 pts. on or before August 1st, 2015. Success will bring eternal glory to the "Red Corsairs" CSM chapter and failure will doom me to bear the Badge of the Oathbreaker until the year-end.

P.S. Havocs could be in Red Corsairs of Claws of Lorek colours (I don't decided this yet).

I have query. On the Maulerfiend the hands (and feet) are mostly metal but have some bits that look like 'flesh'. Should I paint them red to add more variety in the model. Or will the difference be too stark?

If you're doing them different make sure they match the flesh on the arms and legs.

Adra'Melek - Yes I would say paint the flesh part, hands & feet.  That just my view.

 

That the Skaven part arrive for the Siege knight right arm.  Now just need to wait a few days go to local model store after picking up Perturabo my friend got me from the FW open day.

Well just stopped painting, so about 10 hours in total today and I've not got far to go :sweat:

 

Need to finish the trim on one Termie and then it's just washes and some detailing and this vow will be done with, then I can crack on with the next one :P

I got the silver completely done on all 6 of the super heavies tonight. Pretty satisfied with that. Gold tomorrow, and hazards/details Friday and should be on to vow 4!

i still have no doubt that ill complete but ill be cutting it very close with my 5th vow, my 4th vow will be delayed due to restictins on the local compatition but ill be done with vow 4 around the 23st and then jumping right on vow 5

Too bad I don't have another 12 baneblades lying around lol. I do however have about 20 leman russ..... but they need chaosing up so not sure how efficient that would be. Probably going to stick to the 9 demon princes for my next vow. Hoping to get the gold done today while playing d&d. Luckily the dm is my cousin so he shouldn't get too mad at my multi taking :p
