Lightning claws are now finished. Its just cabling, pistons, rebreathers and warband symbols to do now. Then vow 3... Maulerfiend or Marine squad?

Dragonlover

Lot of really great progress.  With only a few week left, how much does everyone have left to paint/do?

Ahhh...hahaha. laugh.png He's a Fruit Salad sweet ! I demand a Blackjack counterpart !

Looking good all round, and not to be outdone myself, I've taken some lieu leave for a full week of painting. Might even sneak a cheeky 4th vow, but possibly too late in the day for the AoS Khorne stuff I've ordered. Maybe.

well im unsure how many points my next vow will be but ive chosen something that is quick to paint. so quick infact last time i collected these back in 4th ed i did an entire company in under a month. problem being im sick of looking at vow 3, should have mixed up what gods im doing rather than painting the same thing, lesson learned for next year.

Here is my vow 1 update. I'm nearing the finish line, just need to do the details and washes. These guys shouldn't take to long, as most of the work was done in the preshading base coats.

I'm not sure I will make a second vow, but I will finish my first!

I'm having mixed feelings about my DV Helbrute. On one hand he was cheap off of eBay, and the detail of the model is impressive. But, the gaps in between the parts are wide enough to, I don't know but they are really annoyingly wide. I have filled the gaps with some green stuff, but it is frustrating because I am losing some of the crispness of the armor. It's not so noticeable where the gaps are connecting the warped flesh areas. I much prefer the individually sold Helbrute. Is there a better method of dealing with these gaps?
