Looks good, but I'd give a coat of gloss as well thumbsup.gif

Agree, I find adding gloss varnish to the gem part help out. I'll also do this for lenses/glass effect. If your worry Thamier, you can always try it out on a spare model first.

He looking cool & looking forward to seen the finish Lucious model.

Gem looks good thamier. Give it a small layer of gloss varnish - or perhaps even a very thinned down layer of BFTBG. :tu:

I've been painting non-stop for two days, drinking and eating too little... I build, coated, painted and based ten bloodletters yesterday and today almost finished the three bloodcrushers and built Khârn, including a massive base for him.

LAST WEEK FOR THE ETL STARTS IN A COUPLE OF MOMENTS, EVERYONE

We're in the lead: let's finish ALL our vows. Everything.

PM forum buddies who haven't finished their vows yet for extra motivation and inspiration.

Especially those who still need to complete their first vows.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAa

My thousand sons are sitting there staring at me with their almost dry nuln oil wash on the bases before the grey drybrush to the base and some blood spatter.

GAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA

I want to go to my next vow (and the two after....)

Quick tip: I learned yesterday that if you put your models to dry on the central heater, you can seriously slop wash on and it'll be finished before you can make coffee. Helped me finish my Bloodcrushers today, even though they had five layers of wash on them.

Central heat, in July? Now that is dedication, or a cold spell, but I'm going with dedication.

I will be up till the early hours working on finishing my vow tonight.

Edit: I'll probably need 2-3 more late nights, no problem, it'll get done in time.

Vow 2 is done. Even though I don't have a central heater I really have access to. (radiators...)

Vow 3:

I Teetengee rise to the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete a Chaos Terminators unit  of size 5 2 with powerfists, 2 with twin lightning claws, and champion with powerfist  from Codex Chaos Space Marines with a total value of 195 points on or before August 1st, 2015. Success will bring eternal glory to the Ultramarines Successors Alpha Legion and the Chaos forum and failure will doom me to bear the Badge of the Oathbreaker until the year-end.

On the terminators, I need advice. The colourscheme is orange with darkblue trim and leadbelcher metals, but I have never painted loyalist terminators before. Generally speaking, which regions count as trim?

EDIT: I shall return in the morning, for I am the tired. Orange is down. Need to know where to put the blue to get much further.

FURTHER EDIT: Charger located.
