The second box of terminators has been completed on schedule! I've painted six of the guys per day during the weekend.

Now only the sanguinary guard (command) squad remains to complete the vow, wich I'll finish before saturday 30th.

As promised, here we are for Vow #2!

 

I, Aias of the Alpha Legion, rise to the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete the following:

 

1 Auxilia Baneblade (535 Points)

1 Auxilia Shadowsword with sponsons and targeters (535 Points)

 

for a total of 1070 points, on or before August 1st 2015. Success shall bring eternal glory to Alpharius and his Alpha Legion. Failure shall doom me to bear the Badge of the Oathbreaker until year-end.

Vow #1 done. Now to see which order wins the race to join Vow #2: the Contemptors (for an all dread vow), or the Lancer (for a Questoris Knight vow).

What? Oh, right, the proof Vow #1 is complete.

Room for one more? Clan Tellum rises from the ashes of Isstvan and enters the fight! 

 

I, Ironwrought Huw, answer the call of E TENEBRAE LUX and vow to complete a total of 335pts - 

 

1 Primus Medicae, power weapon - 100pts. (Built last month for the casual challenge but I forgot to paint him) 
5 Cataphractii terminators, 2 autocannons, 2 chain fists, 2 power fists 235pts (they are reinforcements for an existing 5 man squad, which is why there are 2 autocannons) 

 

Success will bring glory to the Iron Tenth and the name of the Gorgon, failure will bring eternal shame (as if I needed any more) and doom me to bear the Badge of the Oathbreaker until the year-end.

It needs to ne impaled through the chest of a prone traitor with a happy looking Imperial Fist holding onto it making sure the traitor knows who killed him.

 

Apart from that it is missing the banner pole for impaling traitors to the floor!

Here's a quick peak at what's on the table next. Another tactical squad of 20 marines, and 10 Autocannon chaps. I feel like I want to get the big blocks of squads done first, ten I can treat myself to another character or some terminators, a tank etc.

 

If I can get the 30 marines painte by the end of the week, in going toads in another, smaller second vow :)

I meant to say if I can get the 30 marines done by weeks end, I will and in another vow. But one a wee bit smaller than 3000pts!

Finished loken. Onto justaerin.

 

Bit of history on Loken. I ordered him off eBay for cheap. Turned out that it was a copy and a lot of the armour trim had snapped off. I thought I could rescue it and the chipping would add a more weathered istvaan look. His head though was utter crap. So I found a replacement head. The end result is not bad but I'm never going to buy character models off eBay again.
