Not too much progress to report.

 

Marital issues aside.... I've run out of super glue!! And the oil rig has run out of superglue too, so I have kind of stalled a wee bit.

I know how my Knight will hopefully look, as if he is crouching over prey and about to bull-rush the next thing beside him 90% figuerd out how to pose the sword arm, but any ideas would be gratefully received. I was thinkin bringing the sword across the body, either that or out stretched to the side blade pointing diagonally down?

The upper body isnt glued in place, just held wit paper clips so I can straighten him up if folks think he is too hunched over.

This is almost done, will work on gap filling tomorrow

 

Can't be bothered painting and left my hard drive with all the movies on it at home!!

Looks like I had better do a daily weekend round-up seeing as I didn't do one Saturday or Sunday. Things are looking good - we are less than eleven thousand away from our nominal goal, our average vow size hasn't changed even with the addition of five more vows and our completion rate has risen once more. We're also four vows short of one hundred vows! Seeing as we have the rest of the working week to keep recruiting, I have absolutely no doubt that we shall see a hundred vows before the end of Week 4.

 

Let us welcome Ironwrought Huw to the fray and give thanks to Smokey Panda, Aias, Kizzdougs and jeremy for revowing! We can also congratulate Aias (again) and Carlson for their completed vows.

Actually it's really classical & simple :

 

- leadbelcher basecoat

- wash with Nuln oil

- leadbelcher (w/ blister foam to apply randomly)

- runefang on edges and "bolts"

- weathering powder (I use simple pastel sticks from which I'm creating powder)

 

done !

A first update for my second vow. So far I've put down the base colours and applied the first washes. Next up, all of the highlighting (kill me now...). I'm pretty short of time at the moment, thanks to uni, but hopefully I'll be able to get some work done on the weekend.
