THE DREADHEAD LIST!?!?!

Not...quite. Buuut, that postal service cooperation I mentioned involves another Deredeo (with both Anvilus and Plasma), as well as a second Salamander Contemptor and a Death Guard Contemptor (love that Mk III armor look, and the few DG markings are easily accessible and removed) - they'll be cobbled together so I don't have two identical body Salamander Dreads. Still, that'd be, what? seven of the nineteen dreads needed for Dreadhead.

Small update today, but a good one. Carlson has made a second vow, well done to you brother for stepping up again, and we welcome yet another brother to the Team. Sabadin, come, join the fray. We warmly welcome you, for good reason. ;)

 

With those two vows, we have hit a real milestone - one hundred vows! All before recruiting has even ended! Sabadin, well done to you, you are our 100th vow. That's a cause for reward, I think. We have two, maybe three days left of recruiting - can we break 100,000 points before the end of Week 4? Yes, it may very well be another eight and a half thousand points but just three near-maximum vows can cover that distance no problem. I know that's really just wishful thinking, however it does nicely illustrate what we can do to go that extra distance, to cement our lead. Eight and a half thousand points. If we can bring in just a few more vows, we can really send a message to our rivals. That would be nice. ^_^

My Land raider is finished and with it, my pledge! This thing was a blast to paint, especially after powering through 60 space marines, a big tank was just the kind of reward I needed!

I´ll make another pledge later, with at least two knights and a small detachment of Imperial Militia, but I´m gonna wait a bit and see if there is anything else I wanna add to that one.

Kor'Vesh is also on the honour rolls today - he has finished his first vow. No doubt a second one will come to pass but let's just take a moment and look at the freehand. Very nice. Also, let's thank Kor'Vesh for his support in his own thread, pushing others forward and encouraging the Team ever onwards. Thank you.

I'm afraid it may simply end up being a bridge too far, this year, to expect 100,000 points to be pledged in the first month alone. We're tantalisingly close and yet the Weekly update will be due either today or tomorrow. Can we scrounge just over seven thousand points in the closing hours?

 

Even if we don't it's been a pleasure trying to see if we can do it. We have two further months to revow and can build on what we have already started.  I have no doubt that we can exceed the 100,000 point mark, given that time we have. Once we move into the second phase of the competition, we will need to place equal importance on completing vows. The closer we can get our rate to 100%, the better off we'll be.
