Not too much progress to report... Still no superglue, so just painting the detachable panels (gotta love magnets)

Plan to sprat prime the main body with silver when I get home.

 

Anyhoo basic reds and blacks done plus made a start on some freehand for the house symbol.

 

 

Went a bit light with the black, but it will be partially covered so not too bad.

 

A question though regarding knight markings? Would it be a bit OTT to do all the red sections including carapace in checkerboard pattern or should I do stripes like his brother Knight?

Confession time - we need to knock off a few thousand points from our completion total. Well, three in fact. Why? Because I kept adding AO108's third vow to it each time I did the totting up. That's entirely on me and I apologise for bad mistake. The discrepancy was spotted by Semper, thankfully, otherwise we'd still be thinking we're further on ahead than we actually are. ^_^

 

The next daily numbers will reflect the amendment.

Go for the checkerboard. It will provide a good distinction between the two.

Right little update as I have been hobby MIA for the lsat week. Despite distracting myself with a Truescale attempt and The Witcher 3 (amazing game) I have 10 vets built. Was going to post them up but I've just ordered some third party bits that will hopefully add a little more character to some future vets so I'm going to save it for the next 10 I build and mess around with the squad makeup. Hoping to have them built by the end of next week, and all painted by end of the month, if so a I will reward myself with a Contemptor, and a third vow. If not, well I have another month to finish everything!

Maybe you are lumping them into Forces of the Imperium - but they are list on B&C as a distinct part of Adeptus Astartes.

Saddened I couldn't finish the Baneblade this weekend. Did finish the bathroom-slash-Fortress of Redemption, but couldn't figure out a point total for something that oversized, and Captain Semper doesn't like us to work on other vows while we're in the middle of another one. So oh, well. I'll get the 'blade done this week and revow soon.

 

If FW is kind, I may be able to add a Veteran Tactical squad for my Alpha Legion now...

Didn't miss the GKs. They are part of the Imperial Forces (IFOR). During normal weekly updates all IFOR forums are shown seperately and you can see GKs performance as you can the AdMech, Astra Militarum, SoBs and Inquisition.

Now as to why GK are part of the IFOR, where else should they be?
