Finally started assembling my vow having done a test paint job on a spare marine I had lying around. I probably won't get many done this weekend though as I have family and friends coming up for the air show, and I need to be able to use the dining room table to get everything done. x_x Not to mention sorting out basing materials...

 

Still, pleased with this assembly. Mixing Reaver and Tactical squad components for my Vet Tac Squads was a good idea.

I'm afraid you need to declare your previous vow complete before you start on your new one - it's kind of fundamental in the ETL (let's me keep track among other things)... I can't take in your second vow in unless you tell me you completed your first vow.

 

Captain Semper, would it be OK to change the wargear on one of my models, it will mean a slight reduction in points.

 

Yes, small changes like that are fine. Let me know of the new points value to update the first page accordingly.

Here's a brief update of where I am so far. Been a bit slow with progress of late, slogging through 20 Tatical marines, 10 Autocannon marines and 6 Deathshroud Terminators. Just got the bases to paint on them all, and to sort the guns for the tacticals/heavies, then they're done and I can get to the big stuff; Morty, Rapiers, Contemptor and tanks :) however, had to have a break from the endless troops briefly, so here are my Praevian (which isn't for the ETL, I know) and my Moritat (which is). Definitely gonna have to get some Castellax now.

 

Was a bit miffed that I was away at the very end of June in Leek, and cos I didn't have signal I couldn't add a further pledge (which would have been the Praevian, some Castellax, Typhon and 10 Grave Wardens). Never mind.
