Thought I'd pop on in and give some motivation to you all.

 

But there has been progress, let's see some completions but ensure our quality continues as it has.

Time for Pledge no. 4!


I, StruManChu rise again to the challenge of E TENEBRAE LUX and vox to complete one Death Guard Grave Warden Squad with -

  • 2 x Chain Fists
  • 1 x Heavy Flamer w/ Chem-Munitions

from the LACAL of total value of 220 points on or before August 1st, 2015.

Ive got painted of my 3k vow:

 

Mortarion

Moritat

Librarian

6 Death Shroud

2 20-man Tactical Squads

6-man Heavy Flamer squad

10-man Autocannon squad

Mortis Contemptorl

Vindicator

Pred Executioner

Spartan

 

Leaves just:

5 Destroyers, 2 Rapiers and 2 Apothecaries.

 

Then I can finally cram in a quick second vow of Typhon and some Terminators :)

 

I do indeed use AK Interactive paints, specifically the Panel Liners. I swear by them, and it's totally removed any need for shading and layering. Huzzah!

Awesome, cheers man - glad to see someone else doing Death Guard in bulk! I'd be specifically interested in whatever orange you use, just because I've not found something as good as what you do for those bigger patches of rust!

Don't worry Kurama, we are picking up some momentum again - don't you start doubting our victory!

 

I'll go and work out the points for my Magos - I said I'd manage at least a total of 500 points for this competition, and I'll be damned if I fail on that! Vow III will follow my friends.

Chaeron - rhinox hide base over a black primer. Paint patches of a lighter, mid-brown. Then over those patches, at points, paint bits of troll slayer orange over it (but showing some of the mid-brown also). Then I did the chipping fluid and then the White coat over that

Mostly to make people's eyelids twitch.
