So, I've spoken with Semper about a  tragedy that befell my Knight models, slain in a car accident. As such, I am revowing to make up the points lost by their destruction.

Until GenCon at the end of the month I have no more HH to work on.  It's been highly motivating however and I've been forced to improve my technique in face of the overwhelming skill over here.  I look forward to continuing in the casual hobby challenge thread.

 

Even though I am a proponent of the ruinous powers....let's not let 40k chaos win this thing, with their unsubtle skulls, spikes, and general over-the-top-ness.  HH started it all.

can i make a third vow i thought it was past time for new vows and i must consider if i can finish a 3rd vow before i start regardless.  Keep up the good fight boys and girls victory is often decided by the thinnest of hairs no completion is to small

@Kriegriss - Lovely models! In answer to your question, yes you can re-vow.up to the 5 vow limit. The new vows thing was just for people that hadn't vowed before 01 Jun 15 - IE New entrants to ETL IV.

Apologies everyone, I wasn't very clear!Thankfully I wasn't in the car when it happened. I loaned them out to a friend who was rearended pretty badly. He's ok, and in all reality that's what's important. Thanks for yall's concern!

In other news, everything save Guilliman is done for my vow. I'll put pictures up when I get home from work today.

I managed to get some more work done over the weekend. The Deredeo is almost finished. Only a few details and the base to do and then I'll be able to start planing my final vow :)

Also, so you now have knight debris? I know people probably wouldn't spend that much for terrain normally, but now that you have it, if you don't think you can repair them, you might consider making some killer terrain from one.

In theory yes, it'll just depend on if/when I get the parts back. My friends is a dumbass who has no concept of reusability so I can see him tossing them without asking.

I'm considering painting up my Custode for my final vow. What do guys think would be appropriate as far as wargear is concerned? I'm thinking of counting him as a Praetor with a master crafted paragon blade and a boarding shield. I'm not sure what I should count the missile component of the guardian spear as. Does a bolter seem right or would a more esoteric weapon such as an archaeotech pistol be more appropriate? What do you think?
