The Purpose of this thread is fairly simple. We have one that tells us about each other. How long we've been playing, what company etc. There is however something lacking. And something that has surfaced quite a bit in the past and as of recent. Members of this community have always wanted to see pictures of armies. This is our chance to Catalog Ultramarines and their Successors here in this little Photo Album of sorts.

 

Provide pictures, with some info if you like or links to your site(s) that have either Ultramarines or a Successor of Ultramarines.

 

Here is one that I think quite a few might find funny. It's the only pic I've ever taken of my Ultramarines. It also happens to be the first UM I've ever painted, even before I knew what an Ultramarine was. He's not even under coated. The paint was simply slapped on there as you see it with a water color brush (you know the kind with the plastic handles and horrible bristles and all -- It's all I had at the time.) Anyways I do still use him and he is my only sealed Mini, I thought it would get some laughs and perhaps encourge others who normally do not post their pics.

EDIT: I should have made it a little more clearer that this Photo Album as such should include UM successors, or even other CODEX Marine chapters. Even if not of UM stock.

Gents-

 

All posts with working pictures or links lived. Lets keep this thread simple and on topic. Pictures of your Ultras, or Ultramarine Successor Chapters. I will purge dead links and pics periodically.

 

-If you have questions for a painter, take it to the PM's.

-If you want feedback for your stuff, start a thread or take it over to the PCA.

-Remember- 700 pixels wide is the limit, according to the board RULES.

-Size pics correctly or they will die. They mess up the board formatting.

Thanks for those pics Hastatus.

 

I've been wanting to see a photo of the actual Sicarius model since it came out. I love the claws, not so sure about the head. How does it look in real life?

it looks quite good in real life. hairs a bit strange, but overall it looks very good.

 

Edit: I've updated Captain Sicarius (repainted the skin) and although there is some badly painted parts it looks a lot nicer. The head looks more normal. Picks below.

Here are my latest paint jobs. Tigurius, Honour Guard and a Veteran Sergeant.

I am working on getting all of the models - 3 more veteran Sergeants, 3 marines, dreadnought missle launcher and the predator all finished by the 26th of jan... Otherwise, this is the 1750 point list that I will be taking to Cancon 2008..

@Brother Tual: How'd you do the gold on the Honor Guard's helmet? Good to see I'm not the only one who seems to sporadically paints random Marines from random squads! :D

I'm digging the scheme there Tyranus--they look great together as a cohesive force. I especially love the old-style scouts. Though is that squad leader wearing--power armor?!?
