The Emperor's Champion
Awesome. Aside from the superdark blue you basically paint the same schemes I do.....except batter. That paintjob makes me want that Dread even more.

Sir Clausel
Very nice freehand there emp champ. But I think some of the other stuff is missing some depth. Maybe a wash will do the trick.
Brother Tual
Sniper scouts - Yes - its telion - with hood! stealth... something different too - Quick easy paint job - for a tourney - not really fussed with adding too much detail - I have heaps to paint - so... what do we think? I might add some building ruins later - if I have time - http://i347.photobucket.com/albums/p449/brother_tual/IMGP0709.jpg http://i347.photobucket.com/albums/p449/brother_tual/IMGP0710.jpg http://i347.photobucket.com/albums/p449/brother_tual/IMGP0712.jpg http://i347.photobucket.com/albums/p449/brother_tual/IMGP0711.jpg http://i347.photobucket.com/albums/p449/brother_tual/IMGP0713.jpg

Cato Sicarius
I would just like to point out that not all Sergeants are Veteran Sergeants. They have veteran stats, but are only labeled 'Space Marine Sergeant'(s), and so don't all need the stripe. However is your talking about Veteran Squads then that's another story. EDIT: Oh, you were after all. Edited November 23, 2008 by Cato Sicarius
Vash113
@Vash - nice. But...that's it for vehicles? :) I know, I know, I really need to add more, out of 5 Marine Armies what your seeing is all the vehicles I have actually. There are none in my Raven Guard, Space Wolves, Grey Knights or Blood Ravens(soon to be Imperial Fists) except for 4 other Dreadnaughts. I got most of my models second hand and just haven't gotten around to forking out the money to acquire more vehicles to round out the motor pool though I really should... Cato Sicarius
Gareth... *dies out of shock, jealosy and amazement* *is revived by God - it was not my time* ... *dies again* *is revived again and is told not to die for at least another 5 years* Ahem... you are too good. You started this army when Black Reach came out, and now you've made the whole of the fourth Company!? But where are the Dreads? And where are the Terminators, and the Vanguard Veterans (I know you've got some - there are Vanguard Veteran arms on one member of the Command Squad), and why is there embossed insignia on the tanks? All that's there adds up to 2845 pts, with the Dreads that becomes 3045, plus the Space Marines Company Datasheet brings it up to 3145, and a Chaplain would make that bigger. Of course you have a lot more models. Edited December 31, 2008 by Cato Sicarius
Thantoes
Holy cow batman... Those are some mighty fine minis gareth, Im really impressed. I really like the sergeants bolter on squad 3. Did you use Shortsonfire79's Mentor pattern Bolter method or something else?
Seahawk
Two highlights I really enjoyed: - Raised insignia for the rhinos - the Plasma gunner in squad
Cato Sicarius
With both shelves added together it's 4815 pts Gareth, but that's excluding the 5 man squad in front of the Terminators, as I can't see them clearly. Any chance of close ups on the bottom shelf squads (exluding the Assault Marines of course - we've seen those). Cato Sicarius
Pretty good Potan, just not too sure about that random Salamanders symbol. And the strip of metal on the front-left looks white, but other than that it's a pretty good shade of blue, how did you get that blue colour? Paradox: It makes no sense, but complete sense at the same time. Hmmm... DIY chapter... Ultramanders... hmmmm...

alexious
This is only about 1/4 of my Ultramarines army. I used it in an apocalypse game this past weekend that a friend of mine and I played in honor of my 32 bday. His stuff is the mostly unpainted, non ultramarine and warhound models. My 4th Company, some vehicles and the Masters of the CHaper formation Some other tanks. My 1st Company Linebreaker formation, and my titan's feet. My Warhound titan - ostensibly it is Legio Praetor, though I couldn't find any info on a color scheme so I decided white and gold would be a nice contrast to the blue of the Ultramarines. Xpyre35
Greetings Brothers. This is my first post. I've been collecting and playing for a little over a year. A friend got me interested, and I started with the Battle for MacCragge set. Have been building up my army, quite quickly, with lots of purchases, and the AoBR box. I easily have over 3500pts in models, but only around 2500 built and only 2k painted. Still need to get my hands on a Land Raider. Here's a link to my pic collection. Brian W
Hi everybody, I've been playing Space Marines for ages (since 3rd Ed.) and have had multiple SM armies. One of my favorites was my first UM army, which was painted as a complete veteran army with white helmets, trims, etc. I have now decided to "upgrade" this army to a 2.0 version, also painted as veterans. Yes yes, I know that some of the unit choices I'm picking cannot be considered elites or veterans as such, but they look cool :D I've taken a few pictures of some of the models, which I'm going to share with you guys here. I'm still working on the army, so a lot of models still need to be painted.
