The daughter of Russ

The lelith model (stripperific as she is) is still probably the best female sculpt I have seen GW do. Apart from the outfit, she actually looks like a warrior. (And since the problem is too little outfit, greenstuff or adding bits probably wouldn't be too difficult.)

nope, i wanted to take liliths body mix it with th MK armour parts i need but i´ll scale them down a bit, done this before and worked. so the conversion won´t be too difficult this time.

sounds like a plan, although I am not sure I understand the nope

Aska, I just read what you'd posted for backstory, and I didn't see anything objectionable.

I agree that lelith is the best female sculpt in production. But what do you expect from the most oversexualized character in 40k? Some trimming on the leg armor, to remove the spikey bits, trim the ears, add some stray hairs, add a weapon (I'd say Aska's bolt pistol and chainsword would be perfect).

Nah I wanna model askas scythe!!! yes aska has a scythe as weapon normally. she forged it by herself out of the tooth from a legendary wolf :) may i magnetize this somehow, so i can switch weapons when i wanna use her  cheaper pointed lists

I actually have a conversion of lilith holding an axe. The resin arms are thin enough that a quick ht water dunk can bend them pretty substantially. Some pics are in my sig if you are interested at all. I can't imagine the scythe will be too troublesome.

Just wandered into your threads sister, and holy crap you have a welcome take on the fluff and a fertile imagination. Thank you for sharing all of this.

Thank you very much :) Yoiu´re all welcome. So glad you like it :)  Greets from Russ Daughter ;)

Yeah but i think i already got a plan how i will build up my aska. i want first hardly one of those new upgrade kits, wanna make a ragnar again :3 also busy with the third chaper fo my ficiton, going to be emotional yeaaahhhh XD

Just promise to keep us in the loop, I lament your previous ruined model but if you've got that much skill I think your next build will be even better.  I'm going to be quite insistent on pictures!

Obviously the opponent knows that going after the armor is an exercise in futility so they target the squishy bits.

And the claws work like wolverine ' s special from the old x-men arcade game:

which explains the lack of her opponents blood on the armor.

Seriously though, great work on the costume!

The skin is supposed to be bloody while the clothes and armour are quite clean. Do it one way or the other. Be consistent tongue.png

haha aye I´ve forgot to photoshop more blood, didn´t wanted to put it on my armour, if i wanna use it without blood maybe >< but yeah true

Thanks mate ;) yeah the claws are normally for my larp-version of the same costume or for the real enactement ^^ i really can figth with ´em if i want to :) aska normally uses her scythe which i´m building. loved the idea of aska moonwolf with a weapon in crescent form. she has moonstruck XD

The story is really good and your fluff is thought out really well. I have actually had a similar idea recently. About 9 years ago I painted up a female in power armor (custom conversion) to serve as a captain in BA successor army. Last week I dusted off my BA successor army and wondered what to do with this mini fluff-wise. I was thinking of making her the daughter of an Astartes to explain her Astartes-like phyisique. After reading your stuff it definitely got me thinking about my own fluff. Good inspiration. ^_^

I have to wonder if the Space Wolves are generational. I had an idea for my Wolf Lord's backstory to include being the son or grandson of a member of the Space Wolves, perhaps one of Logan Grimnar's Wolf Guard, or I was thinking he'd be third generation, with his grandfather being a Long Fang, and his father being a Wolf Guard in one of the Great Companies.

One also has to wonder if all of the genetic enhancements would be passed on to the offspring of an astartes, or if only some would be (e.g. increased strength and size), or if they'd be born normal, with only a greater potential for adapting to the gene seed.

I have been giving that some thought myself as I was also toying with the idea of including the generational thing in my DIY chapter. My take on it is that it is probably very varied. Some might be born with enhancements, some normal and anything in between. Genetics in the 40th millennium are probably very unpredictable. Asaka's story really got me thinking about this. I was also wondering how the first would affect the implantation process if certain organs would already be present.

thank you :)  like I said, i never wanted to fart a story so I sat there some nights, sleepless thinking about how i can visiualize things like this realistic in a story. of course tastes are diffrent from person to person but i was also comfortable this way. ^^

i think things like that may also work in other chapters.

Well, those sleepless nights definitely had a good result. I remember the discussions about female Astartes and you came up with a pretty interesting way around it. Now the challenge is on me to make something that works for my chapter and doesn't break the suspension of belief. :-)

You might be able to say that she inherited the enhanced strength, and the mutation to the pituitary gland resulting in the large physique. But lacks the acid spit gland and some of the other typical astartes sillyness.

Genetics is a science, but in nature it's still unpredictable, it would only get more so with the introduction of more variables.

Yeah, I had a look at your FB page, so I noticed it is more then just a story for you. msn-wink.gif

I remember reading that the Emperor had at least several natural born children, the so called "Sensei". His sons are immortal like him, but his daughters are not. Seeing as how long most Primarchs were around (several centuries for even the ones that died during the Heresy) it wouldn't be unreasonable to assume some of them might have fathered children themselves.

The problem is the founding of my chapter. It was in a time the Primarchs were long gone. I am aiming for the 23rd "Sentinel" founding for my DIY chapter. Not sure how I would tie in a child of the Primarch. So that is why I was thinking of going for a daughter of a regular Astartes.
