Commander Dawnstar Posted June 18, 2015 Share Posted June 18, 2015 I'm going to freely admit that I'm a bit lost when it comes to what works best in 30k. Certain things, the Magos Prime in particular, leave me absolutely overwhelmed by the sheer range of options before me, more than a little uncertain what works well or which choices mesh well with other parts of the army. As such I'm hoping that some of you lovely people can help me take the selection of models that I have to work with and point me towards both how to best use them and what needs to be added or swapped in to make a solid enough list. Any assistance would be very much appreciated. At this point in time I have: A Magos Prime 6 Thallax (No Special Weapons) 5 Castellax (All Mauler Bolt Cannons) 2 Thantar 1 Krios Discounting the Magos, as I have no idea how to go about gear, that's easily 1,400 points taken care of. My immediate thought is that the Thallax could do with some special weapons (Probably Multi-Meltas) and that a Darkfire Cannon Castellax or two wouldn't go amiss. Beyond that ... some Tech Priest Auxilia and Rite of Pure Thought Thralls maybe? I'm certainly aware of World Eaters, Emperor's Children and Raven Guard at my local store, although I know nothing more beyond that.
