Too many points tied up in minimal sized units that dont pack anywhere near enough punch. Mainly the Breachers + LR and the Assault Marines. 2. Not much focus on what I was trying to accomplish, the characters are not jacked, the shooting is lacking, so its just a mess. 3. Forgetting you bought Burning Lore doesnt help. Slips Posted June 27, 2015 Share Posted June 27, 2015 The problem with assault marines is that 10 cost the same as 20 tacs. So unless your making a JP focused army / angels wrath, yeah, they take up a lot of points for not much benefit but for mobility... Same problem with breachers. You now kinda understand why people (such as myself) tend to play larger pointed games: we can bring more toys and more variety. Meaning that, at lower points (2k and below for 30k, oddly enough) you almost need to have a very narrow and focused theme that synergizes well; 1d4chan put it best: think of this as Craftworld: Legiones Astartes. Theres nothing wrong with brining them its just as you've said: They're specialised and expensive. That means that the list will also have to be specialised to mesh with them.
