Bjorn Firewalker
Excellent work. By the way, is the Freeblade Knight's howling wolf emblem that of his Knightly House, a personal emblem, or an honor marking for fighting beside the Space Wolves? Lord Blackwood
Just beautiful. Is Celestine's face going to get further work? I wanted to do some glowing eyes , Im not terribly confident with my work on faces though , hers is extremely tiny and behind her bangs so ... .maybe is probably the best answer for that. Thank you for the compliment ! Excellent work. By the way, is the Freeblade Knight's howling wolf emblem that of his Knightly House, a personal emblem, or an honor marking for fighting beside the Space Wolves? Its a mark of being Wolfsworn and serving alongside the Space Wolves and Black Templars of the Marked Wulf Crusade The kill markers are actually accurate kills on armored targets from the games he has participated in though. Lord Blackwood
Today I put together and primed Predator #7 at Hondas orders 6 was insufficent so I will be shooting to have 9 Preds finished by the midway part of the year. I also primed some little sisters , who will be forming the core of the order that my living saint is part of the ones who are all buddied up to my crusade. waiting on everything to dry so I can get started with some base colors tonight maybe. Honda
It is an excellent looking force. I can not help but when seeing the distressed yellow, to immediately think "Scouring Era". I know you have another story line going on, but it really does jump out at me. And I really like the distressed yellow. Lord Blackwood
The Knights of the Marked Wulf Crusade and their House Blackwood Allies took on the Forces of Chaos Tonight in a 100 Power Level Game Mission :DeadlockDeployment:Search and DestroyResult : 23-5 Victory Heres just some random shots of the game , nothing particularly in sequence Chaos Space Marine Objecttives Imperial ObjectivesSome NotesPredators are fantastic Contemptors can do a lot of work , especially with their very long move pre damage The Forgeworld Knights are very interesting , the Lancer was down to 11 wounds but it sure as hell tanked a lot during that game. Knights have armor saves , so while you only have a 5+ invul if your getting hit by -1 stuff and small arms you have a 3+ armor or a 4+ armor at -1 this is stuff I forgot about. The Lancer having a 4+ in close combat is legit. The Castigators sword may very well be one of the best knight weapons with Mortal Wounds on 6s. Intercessors are fantastic at sitting on objectives , their bolt rifles are....meh admittedly , but they are good at sitting on something and clearing chaff from a respectable range away. Las cannons ... load up on las cannons , they are terrifying. The Vindicator is largely Meh , I think if your gonna take one you ought to take a Laser Vindicator from forgeworld despite being a relic is very solid. Death Guard feel no pain is great. Rhinos are remarkably Effective.Blight drones are annoying. Honda
I guess the results just prove that "Painted" > "Unpainted" I truly do love the look of your army and desaturated yellow. Your Primaris look especially nice and the Predators are wicked looking. Thank you for sharing.
