Hi guys!

Here are some DevBlog posts about Inquisitor Martyr!

For those who missed them, we started a video series called “Inquisitorial Logs“, and so far we presented you two episodes that show various features.

Nurglings are nasty little creatures that swarm Inquisitors, essentially overwhelming them… but how exactly are they programmed in a complex, destructible environment?

In Inquisitor – Martyr, you’ll be able to explore a whole Galactic sector in the Segmentum Tempestus, called the Caligari Sector. There are four major layers in this explorational mode, as you zoom in from the Caligari sector overview through subsectors to the smallest points of interests (such as planets, moons, etc.), and their surfaces where you select your mission.

The sector overview is the highest and broadest of the four zoom layers, but you’ll use it less frequently. So let’s take a step forward, and zoom in on a subsector, which is even more interesting in terms of gameplay.

Feel free to share your thoughts!

Well now. I must say that this is looking better and better the more polish and content it receives. I can remember the social media naysayers from last year. This is probably a 'buy' from me, now. ^_^

This does look very good but there are some very ambitious claims (Bethesda, Bioware & Lionhead level of ambitious) being made in this latest video.  Hopefully they pull it off and it doesn't end up with you grinding through a ton of random generated fetch quest, just to unlock the next stage of the game.  Sometimes wish developers would focus less on hundreds of hours of gameplay using random quests and locations and just give me 20 - 40 hours of solid story which can be replayed in a variety of ways.

Ambitious.

If it can be played from 1st person perspective that would be a lot cooler than 3rd person. Maybe that's been talked about in this thread, I don't know, but I don't like 3rd person games very much.

I hope they can deliver on all this promise.

Ambitious.

It's a 3rd person game and fully designed as such. There won't an option for 1st.

Even if you could, you'd be at a serious disadvantage.
