Statue of Sanguinius WIP

 

Apparently I like doing terrain over the summer months? Next up is a scratchbuild that I have daubed a "Statue of Sanguinius" which uses some third party bits that i've acquired over the years.

• Sanguinius is first of Scribor's Archangel releases
• The building underneath is part of the Gothic City Building from Pegasus Hobbies
• The plinth will be made from scratch. I'm envisioning a circular column reinforced with sprues. I also need to make an enclosed platform and create a recess on the building.
• Painting will likely involve a lot of marble. Maybe I'll do the body with bronze/verdigris, and the building base will be like my other buildings.
