IVIilitarus
My question is - does the Imperial Knight Paladin kit (the older one without the new sprew) allow for a simple way to model an Imperial Knight holding a Thermal Cannon and a Rapid-Fire Battle Cannon? I wish to run it as a counts as and would rather save the money from buying a Crusader. Does the kit allow for such a conversion that still looks decent? Lucien Eilam
Not a simple way, no. From the shield forward is simple enough, but there's only one main body for the gun, which you assemble with different ammunition feeds, including components that are supposed to be mounted inside it before you glue it together in the case of the thermal cannon. It's only £10 difference and the Warden/Crusader also gives you the carapace weapons, so I'm not sure why you'd bother. I was just asking because I wasn't really into carapace weapons and money saved is money saved. Looks like I might be going for the proper Knight kit, then! Carlson793
Don't give up just yet. While there's 'no easy way' to magnetize the Paladin/Errant kit, there are tutorials available: http://www.theindependentcharacters.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=6858 Link to comment https://bolterandchainsword.com/topic/312155-is-a-knight-paladin-with-both-ranged-weapons-possible/#findComment-4142549 Share on other sites
Lucien Eilam
He's not asking to magnetise one arm, he's asking if you can convert it to have both weapons at the same time. Ahh...been following two different knight magnetizing threads. Got a bit goggle brained on which was asking what.
