Can Deathshroud use different colors? And an armor question

So, it's been a month since I went to Warhammer World. Not just a good haul for my Death Guard (enough to put together my previous Army List) but I also purchased two Palatine Blade units and one Ashen Circle, then set about converting them for my CSM army (one unit of Five Slaaneshi Chosen with power swords, a Slaaneshi Sorcerer, probably a Slaaneshi on Foot Lord and three spares, as well as between them, the Ashen Circle and a Possessed kit, 5 new Chaos HQs and a squad of Possessed with Wings, AKA Warp Talons.) However they are not my main point

My point, as addressed above, is Deathshroud. I have 5 of them, but one has been, thanks to losing one of the arms, converted to have a power fist in one hand and a scythe in the other. He's playing multiple duty anyway, so this allows me to vary his load out. However.... would a Praetor have access to Deathshroud style armor and equipment beyond the Sycthe? He has a bolter mounted on the Power Fist to count as a Combi Flamer. And can the Deathshroud have any variance on their colour scheme other than straight up white and green? I ask for future Painting reasons.

The Lord has to have the face of sigvald the magnificent

Too late already glued in the helmet. This guy is fully glued up. I just want to see if I have to bull:cuss in a way for him to exist.

Mind you, open palmed power fist and one handed scythe makes a great grim reaper like pose

picture please and I don't see why he can't unless scythe has specialist weapon I dunno don't play death guard

Not from a rules standpoint. It's more the armor I'm worried about. As for pictures...

Fluff wise, a Preator probably wouldn't have direct access to the DS gear as they are chosen by Morty and presumed dead by the rest of the legion iirc.

But, Preators are still commanders of huge forces with untold resources at thier finger tips, if he wanted some cool armour he may be able to aquire some from s fallen brother for honour reasons or something more sinister.

Rules wise it'll just be some Cataprachii armour though. It's your hobby though and the guy looks boss! Do what you want :)

What do you think the other Four are there for, they're his bodyguard. And best part, they're playing double roles. Praetor and Deathshroud for the Legion list, Nurgle Terminator HQ and Nurgle Terminators all with Combi Flamers for the CSM lists.

You can paint your models however you want. The old artwork had the Deathshroud in grey. As for who could use what, the Deathshroud armour is effectively just Tartarus with the groin plates and an in built chem flamer on one arm. My Praetor is in Catraphractii armour but I gave him a wrist mounted combi flamer with the flamer bit designed off the Deathshrouds. I also plan to use one of my spare Deathshroud (as I'm having 7) as the base for my siege breaker.

Heh, not seen in the pics due to an inability to focus: The chem flamer on the other side. One gauntlet has the bolter, the other the flamer. I thought it would be nice and honestly reminded me of the old 3rd Edition rules for Space Marines where Marneus Calgar was said to have his weapon profile because he had one in each.

I have my Primus Medicae and Siege Breaker equipped in Deathshroud torso armour with Grave Warden greaves. It gives them their own unique warplate. The other nice thing about the Deathshroud torso is that it accepts normal sized heads, so you can use Death Guard upgrade kit pieces.
