Lord Tharand Posted September 14, 2015 Share Posted September 14, 2015 Some more progress on Angron. It's slow going as I try to keep the layers thin. You can see they got a little thick around his foot and I'll need to correct that a bit. I was also toying around a tad with the next layer of highlights on his right shoulder but not of that should be considered finished by any stretch! Also, I haven't even touched his left side yet. The rest of the squad are good to go, thought I'd test out the scheme on the Sgt prior to doing the whole lot! III Plate. They are my first 10, so have to figure out colour scheme and what not, hopefully next month I can start going ham on this! (And provided I get more models, lol). Have gotten several layers of paints on my phobos and threw the MKIV ironclad on the painting table for :cusss and giggles as well. Well I have had a field day on the 'bay and one of the FB gaming trading pages the last 2 weeks... Ive just blown my gaming budget wad for the next 2 years gents and gals. I picked up a piece of the FW ruined terrain for a song, a FW bag of character models for pretty much nothing, the achilles mentioned above, a venerator and a MUTHAFRACKIN Lucius war hound titan!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The lucius was premeditated as I missed 1 that sold for a steal right after they stopped production, bid on one I later realized was a recast (love when someone says they 'picked one up and don't have time for it' then list another auction for same titan before the first one ends :/ ) The Venerator was straight up impulse as the guy said he's moving and in desperate need of $$ and had a bunch of other genuine stuffs for sale. Dishes are done...I am home and ready for a long while of putting these beastly beauties together and painting them up. Ok, I will get pics up hopefully this eve. Thanks for listening to my excitation rant... Also, I have been using photo bucket for so long and have never been super happy with it, Im wondering what other services y'all use and is there anything that works to upload straight from a mobile without having to upload to site, get on my laptop and then upload from there?
