bluntblade
Tbh except for suicide squads, that's not the most effective use they could make of Astartes. I'm thinking that they'd hold a few cities initially, but be gradually pushed back by the Insurrectionists, with the Taghmata Iyacrax having already fought them over much of the same terrain. It occurs to me that a lot of the destruction will be down to having heaps of Titans in-theatre. The real blanket presence will be the various Army forces and taghmata, but I was thinking that the Godslayers would be used primarily in escalade operations by Kozja, divided between objectives as he sees fit. bluntblade
One thing I would like to do is have the Predators suddenly reverse a retreat at one doomed city, tearing through to the Insurrectionist guns and using them to bombard the city with Insurrectionist forces inside. Matarax cohorts, Venatorii Covenants and Idolum and Charnax automata all look like good choices, particularly as the fighting shifts to building-to-building combat. Doctor Perils
Also, - Godslayers - House Crémuel (allies to the Warbringers) Sorry, I have no idea what the numbers should look like though. Should we include secondary commanders (as in potential Knyazi/Hetmans)?
bluntblade
They aren't in the FW ones, but I think we should include them. I've messaged you a handy resource on Discord. Titans seem to be in the double figures for these types of engagements, with hundreds of Knights. Edited July 3, 2019 by bluntblade
Nomus Sardauk
Legio Pugilis Legio Fatalis Legio Mercurion: Some interesting names here, do we have any further info on these Titan Legios?
bluntblade
Fatalis are a Legio bound to the Iron Bears... or they serve the Lions, in which case I'd need to swap them out. Pugilis and Mercurion are just names that seemed cool to me, the former serving Iyacrax and the latter fighting for Locria.
bluntblade
Edit: checked and Fatalis do serve the Bears. They're more oriented to smaller Titans than Auris, and their livery incorporates copper. Edited July 3, 2019 by bluntblade
