Legion Centurion Weapons...

So I have decided I cant wait for Inferno to come out before starting my Vlka Fenrika force.

For my HQ i have purchased the web release ltd edition centurion from forge world.

in order to make him more like the VI Legion i am going to give him Krom Dragongaze's Axe which is right handed..

Now my question ..........is it worth  also retaining the power fist or should I just replace the power fist with a left handed ranged weapon?

Nice! They mentioned at the latest Open Day that the Space Wolves are going to be less wolfywolfwolf and more "the Emperor's executioner" themed, so that axe will be perfect!

It's totally up to you fluff-wise. Rules-wise, you should bear in mind that a power fist is a Specialist Weapon, and you only get an extra attack if using 2 Specialist Weapons. A power axe is not, so it won't work with the power fist, and is completely redundant when compared to the fist.

I'd just find a left-handed bolt pistol. :)

ahh they keep dropping little nuggets of info that raise the anticipation levels higher & higher..... cant wait to see what they do with them.

Thanks for that!! biggrin.png I wasnt quite sure on the rules..think I will give him a Volkite Pistol instead

The model would look so much better holding something more hefty than a bolt pistol IMHO, like a Volkite Charger or a combi-weapon (one with scope) AND a holstered bolt pistol.

EDIT: Now that I think of it (which is off-topic, I know), the model in question could possibly be made into a really nice Legion Standard Bearer...

The question is:

What should the dude do?

The centurion? Well, you can either look for a model that'd fit a particular role you have in mind for it, or the other way round, get the model first, look for a role for it later. I prefer the latter, although it usually means having more models than you actually use. But I'm more of a collector than player.

But in case of the idea of modelling this guy with a power axe and bolt pistol (and possibly a combi weapon) you get yourself a nice Delegatus for a small starter force of Wolves. So no, it's not worth retaining the power fist, if it's going to have a power axe anyway :)
