Thanks Augustus!! Do not fear, I have more than enough Chaos for next year's ETL and a lot more I want to build msn-wink.gif Unfortunately the only picture I have of him (suprise suprise) is of him standing proud in the show display case. I'll take some more next time I am at the store, but here he is for now ...

No pics from me today, been having fun with weathering powder on the silver bits, also applied chipping to the black, painted the eyes and started the Black Legion symbols On the pauldron. Quite happy with my progress but the kids are back from school soon so that's all for today I think.....

 

EDIT - in case anybody is wondering I'm off work with a minor knee op, may as well paint when I get the chance!

Midnight Runner - I'm looking forward seen the Black Legion biker, you need to complete this year Call of Chaos vows :D

 

That me complete my second unit of Sentinel for Chaos Guard & pretty cool that it on the 8th day of Call of Chaos :D

I'm sitting here thinking 'bloody hell that was quick' then I realised they're Epic scale.

I was thinking "looks like more that 8!"

 

Epic is good and fast like that, though you have to go fairly bright with the highlights etc for them to work at this scale.

Only a few more things to go for this army, tournament in 3 weeks!

All the bikes are up to this point, I am going to be tidying up the Legion symbol, then painting the rest of the details. Then on to more weathering!

 

I am going for the beat up, 'been living in the Eye of Terror for 10,000 years whilst beating on loyalists on our occasional trip out' look :D

Well... FINALLY managing to do some paint today x) Just a quick session on my bloodletters but i think i might have finished them Monday^^

Then, i also converted an another lord in power armor and have a dilema... I frankly hesitate about replacing my terminator lord by him for my vow... Both mini is unfinished but i have hard time deciding wich one i will pick up :/ What did you guys think?

My brother likes to put it on while we're gaming. It does my head in.

 

Had a slow week so far. Wife actually wants us to have a social life so been busy , and will be busy today. Hopefully get some more progress on the Contemptor tomorrow and then use Monday to finish ready for week 3

I can see how it would do your head in, there is times I feel that way as well. But I aint heard it in about 8 years and tonight it just scratched that itch.


Oh man, I listen to the vinyl album sometimes during painting. It's such a good listen. Kudo's!!

Need to pick up a copy on vinyl, I prefer music to have that crackle and pop that you only get with records.

I prefer to use anything I can on Youtube. That's for touch ups though, all my models have been mostly done at the local GW so far.
