We strove to bring peace we tried to bring unity and we succeeded, at least momentarily.

But we were betrayed by those who held our fealty, we were considered lesser beings in the eyes of the emperor and the almighty Omnissah. The Warmaster sent his envoy and even the mighty priests of Mezoa laughed at there offerings, we are not swayed by gifts or world's or anything that betrays the Sidon protocols.

We will not submit to Mars or the emperor or any other tyrant who wishes to play empire builder. The Coronid Deeps have been threatened and our own household will answer the calls of the innocent and protect them from the Traitors no matter what they're disguise.

The knights of Baroda have betrayed their oaths to Mezoa and this is an insult to not just them but to us, the household of Makabius will be run into the ground and their offspring will be destroyed with nought but disdain, we shall watch as there fortresses burn and are left to ruin and we will clean our hands of the stain that was our cousins.

Vyronii stand by us though, they're oaths and honour intact for this I am relieved for our enemy comes on all fronts in all sizes. Legionary, Auxillia, Knight, Malitia even the priests are coming for us.

But let them come I say, we will fight to the last, we will be remembered for our sacrifices, our ferocity and our honour.

So all the sons and daughters of Kaldeia tend to your mounts, return home and hear this message.

So once again I'm at a new project.
This time I'll be bringing the narrative of book IV Conquest to life in an attempt to recreate a lesser known event in the Horus Heresy, the Siege of the Segmentum Obscurus.

this will cover everything from Knight's, Solar Auxillia, Traitorous legions to shattered remains of loyalists. From Port maw to Mezoa, from the black keep of Baroda to the caverns of Kaldeia and finally to the swamps and forests of Draematus II/III

so she's taking shape I just ordered myself a Knight Styrix Upgrade pack so I can get the mech plates and I need to.pick up another knight Warden next week so I can get the second gattling cannon.

SCION ARBELASTER

Weapon Calibration- The weapons-mountings and targeting systems of a Knight Arbelaster have been finely attuned by their pilot and are extremely responsive to their skills. The knight has the Tank hunters special rule.

 

Ionic Flare Shield

when a questoris knight is deployed, and subsequently at the start of the opposing sides shooting phase, the Questoris knights controlling player must declare which facing each Questoris knights ionic flare shield is covering. The choices are front left side right side rear.

 

The knight has a 4+ Invulnerable save against all hits on that facing until the start of the opposing sides next shooting phase, the strength of any shooting attack is reduced by -1, the effect increasing to -2 if the weapon has the blast or template rules (note this does not lower the strength on Destroyer or haywire attacks)

 

Blessed Autosimulacra

if a vehicle has suffered hull point damage at the end of the controlling players turn, roll a D6 on a roll of 6 one lost hull point is restored.

 

overtaxed reactor

When destroyed the knight adds +1 to the result rolled on the catastrophic damage table.

 

Trigger Happy

If the knight has remained stationary it can opt to use both duel gattling cannons twice (so 4 separate Weapon profiles) in a condensed torrent of firepower, after this has occurred subsequently next shooting phase the gattling cannons can not be used due to overheating.

Specialized rounds for Viridian gives the gattling cannon profile Armour bane.

Now onto questions;

Rangaman- I actually ordered from a bitz dealer specific lyrics the bits for the Forge World version as to save on cash.

I will eventually get both fw copies for this project, I plan on only using the mech pattern plates.

 

Praefectus invictus- didn't really snap any pics of the build but Jeff Tibbetts and his queen bee cover the basic posing principals in his blog that I used so hopefully that helps. All I did was use a hacksaw on the joint then reposed filled the cavity with GS and chopped the toes to reposition.

The young boy dropped down next to his older brother, his doe eyed excitement now replaced with lethargy at being scolded by his older siblings diminutive attitude.

"fine then but when they make the announcement you have to apologise and teach me how to fight like dad."

Taron turned and slapped his sibling across the face

"What have I told you! Never mention Father it's his reason we're here!"

Tears started to well up in the younger siblings eyes, realising he over reacted Taron tries to reassure his younger sibling.

"You always blame dad! It's not his fault he was sent away, what else could he do when he's ordered to report for duty. We're oath bound just as he was and it's not his fault."

"Just shut up you know nothing about it Corbin! Your too young and father hadn't started your studies yet! We owe them no oaths they aren't our family we aren't of house Makabius they are just our enslavers. They sent father away as he was a reminder of they're tarnished past, they would never have sent a true son of the household of Makabius into a forlorn situation like they did to him, you saw yourself the state his mount returned in. It was barely whole it's a surprise it wasn't scrapped and left to rust. The only thing that even showed it was Father's was his blade Gloria!"

"But they rebuilt it Taron and you were supposed to be the heir to Dawnblade, I don't understand why we left?"

"It's so I don't have to leave you and be sacraficed like father was, we are the last of our name now and the last of house Wentorth. There's no honour dying for Makabius I'd rather run and be excommunicated then let you or myself suffer such a fate. That's why we're heading to Kaldeia I'll learn from the knights of Hermatika and I'll become a freeblade and I'll keep our name alive, I'll protect you and I won't let you die for our fathers failings."

Both brothers fell silent, emotionally spent after such a war of words. Taron eyes drifted slowly over to the corner of the warehousing bay where a Massive container sat watching attendants walk pass with no idea what was inside.

One word formed in his mind "Dawnblade" and he cursed the titan that was confined within.....

Vespasia was one of the traitors who attacked the Black Tower of Baroda, where she had slain atleast 3 of her former masters in close combat. She also participated in the Assault on Dominica Minor alongside other Knights of House Makabius under the lead of the sinister Mortarion, Primarch of the Death Guard Legion.

@rangaman- I'm hoping I get them by the end of next week, I truly hate waiting on bird orders but I'll manage till they get here.

 

Now I was going to work on the interior for this knight but I decided to not bother as the mech plates have no real access to look inside.

 

So I thought what do I do with my command throne, so I have an idea but I won't spoil it.

Thanks Atia, I want to add theme to each knight to help tie them in together, usually I'm not the best with balance but every part of my current projects are constantly been scrutinized by myself and I need more destructive (see what I did there) criticism.
