Chief Captain Redd
Daer'dd has an eternal youth to him. His cheeks are high set, his jaw is broad and strong. His skin soft, it's a deep leathery almost crimson tanned. His eyes are almond in shape and he has a strong brow with two wild arching ebony eyebrows. His eyes are unique, his whites of his eyes are jet black his irises are a golden orange and glowing. His hair is long & braided, and a deep black-brown with streaks of crimson dyed and silver white from age. His beard is neat and kept, close cropped to his face save for three thick braids of intricate knot work. Each braid is capped in a copper bead of astounding quality featuring a unique visage of a bear. He stands just 13'2" and weighs 9022 lbs. so heavily muscled his head looks disproportionate. His fists are larger than his head and unfurled his fingers look like they could hold an astartes. His feet are equally as large. His legs are thick and stout a little short for his frame. He has a long torso and a bit of a belly. Hesh Kadesh
Sorrowsworn Morro has several stages; Initial discovery. Minor, mostly subdermal and subcutaneous modification and incisions. Heavily tattooed. The de facto ruler of the system of Styx, as the a gang lord supreme. Rather than outright control the populace through either leadership or fear, he controls them with using others to do his work; despite not being the true ruler of Styx, he is the power not so much behind the throne, but the power that the throne cannot deal with. Morro is content with his lot, and happy to control his fellow kingdom; bribing or intimidating the populace into doing whatever he wishes, he begins to accrue a life of luxury, to the extent where he freely trades with the Dark Eldar, trading those who displease him for more and more esoteric things and body modifications. With the coming of the Imperial Fleets, the Dark Eldar who hung in near residual harvest mode by this stage around the system were either killed, fled into the nearby webway gate, or captured by the small paramilitary army trained up by Morro secretly (with the aid of Rakarth). Still, dark of hair, and swarthy, he is relatively lithe and agile. http://guides.gamepressure.com/princeofpersiathetwothrones/gfx/skin/1st_page_pic.jpg An incredible game if anyone has played it. The Dark Prince is a good allegory, but not present... fully at least, just yet. With a neat, trimmed beard, and long locks, he had the typical roguish look, with the added danger and risk shown by his tattooed arm, already showing the effects of body modification. A looping spiked chain, was his normal weapon of choice, but his gift of welcome from the legion was an immense hand-and-a-half sword, it's blade was curved like a scimitar, yet reversed, with the cutting edge inside the curve, rather than the outside. Known as a Shotel, this was a traditional weapon of the legion, it's pointed edge useable like a short spear, and especially useful for getting around the outside of shields. When the Insurrection occurs, he is already part beast. Urien Rakarth had netted a webbing to go underneath his skin. Initially understanding them to be electoos, they would flash and change colour as his mood dictates, and used as a form of intimidation. Lost within his biological wonders, which ever increased his strength and resilience, he rarely thought to stop Rakarth's experimentation, going as far as to deny the right to a Dreadnought Chassis those near dead who fought well for the legion, to the extent that no Dreadnought had been created for around 20 years, leaving many sarcophagi unfilled around the main body of the Drowned fleets. Those extended tendril fleets, and those of the legion under Hennasohn were rarely short, keeping up the standard practise of internment. Those who survived the experimentation of Rakarth were no longer merely the Grotesques of the Eldar, but something else, for Rakarth had been sneaky. Unbeknownst to Morro, the implanted membrane was actually riddled with daemonic larvae, each one gorging on emotion, the ratio of absorption affecting the growth of the creatures. With certain outbursts, such as anger, or rage, or hate, or even immense sorro, each burrowing daemon-worm could spring up, and attempt to experience the sensation for itself, further parasitically attaching itself not just to Morro's physical body, but his genome structure and his psyche as well, driving the need to experience those emotions all the more as a genuine necessity as a normal person would need nutrition. This was Rakarth's master plan, but it inevitably would have failed; despite the extremes of emotion needed by Morro to survive, he would never have enjoyed the sensation of emotion for what it was worth; he would never have come into contact with Slaanesh, the Dark Prince of his own accord. By sacrificing Morro's soul to Slaanesh, Rakarth would bargain for the souls of the Eldar race; trading their need to fear the warp for that of an entire legion and a portion of the Emperor's soul. It was only shortly after the murder of Russ (brought on by the lack of control over his emotions, and the Wolves attitude to Morro's "purity", ignoring their own lack of purity, combined with not actually understanding what it meant to have a full legion brought down upon him) that Morro would begin to flee the judgement of his brothers. Fleeing the Thousand Sons sent to drag Morro back for censure, he would flee to a world called Molech, where it is there he would encounter Be'lakor, the Harbinger. Setting the First Prince free, and understanding the Imperial Truth was now a lie, he fell easily to the manipulations of Chaos. Morro was already at risk due to certain political parties within the Mechanicum and the various noble houses on Terra being aware of his little secret with open gene manipulation from Rakarth. In regards to the Murder of Russ, it's figured that it would need to be by someone ordering it. Whether it's Be'lakor, acting on behalf of a fever dream (I'm a bit hesitant to reuse that stereotype from the Heresy), or an order from someone to kill Russ; whether it's Icarion or otherwise, it would need to be an explicit order. Morro is a soldier. He's never a figurehead, and kind of hates having to drag along the legion, who are beginning to disown him, so he likes having a defined objective. He'll hate being told how to achieve something, but loves having the achievement told to him. Tell him to get to get something out of a tree, he might climb the tree, but at the same time, he might just chop the tree down and then pluck that thing you needed. Seeing a chance to end his torment after being tricked by the gods, Be'lakor maneuvred Morro to side with the already corrupted Icarion, in an attempt to empower Morro to an extent that he could kill the Emperor, and steal the Big E's soul before it got devoured by the gods; becoming a god himself, and giving the next best thing, the soul of a Primarch to Slaanesh, he would ensure he had an ally. With no love lost between Khorne or Tzeentch, Be'lakor would at least not have that alliance to worry about, while Tzeentch and Nurgle were natural enemies, the perfect cover for Be'lakor to be the top of the food chain in the Warp. Through that, Morro would be his vessel for doing so. http://i.ytimg.com/vi/wfU8uI-jsbg/maxresdefault.jpg That is similar to what he looks like, although with a more humanoid face still, and his oversized claws being more symetrical. Finally, we get to the Morrozilla. He has shed what remains of his legion, only those who follow him, because they're followers to the order (thanks to his geneseed), and he's still their Primarch. Conversely, these are mostly Terran Legionaries; those legionaries who were loyal to him from Styx or later "reaps" were more likely to be thrown to Urien Rakarth or his Apothecaries for similar treatment, while some of the earlier Terran Legionaries who stayed with Morro saw him betrayed and ridiculed among his brothers even prior to the Insurrection. That he was naturally an outsider, with the achievements of his legion overshadowed by the involvements of the larger legion forces behind those of his tendril fleets didn't help things, causing a spiralling sense of his feeling of being insufficient. With the feelings of hate, suspicion an subconscious anger flowing through him, he took the fight to Terra. Knowing the secret of the Emperor's ascension, and being denied it himself, he sought to take it from the Emperor's body. Realising that the Insurrection was his best way to do so, he aligned himself with them, but was as fractious an ally as ever. With the loss of his possible only true "friend" in Pionus, he has nothing to combat it, and only Icarion's personal intervention prevents him from attacking/killing his brothers, as he is swollen on his own self pity. As a loose cannon, he is set loose on known eldar gardens, and realising his mistake, Rakarth manages to escape with the aid of Irrilyth, Drazhar, and a [name to be decided] Warp Spider Phoenix Lord melting right into the ship. Corvo, Morro's former left hand and equerry gone rogue, but recaptured, and raised into a remaining Dreadnought, hidden from Rakarth's knowledge, is sent to act as his chaperone. Irrilyth is killed defending the fleshcrafter, with rogue Daemon-dreadnought going berserk, while the other Phoenix Lords escape with the Warp Spider. The Eldar who aided the escape attempt have their soulstones left behind, and feeling the thirst of Slaanesh, Morro drinks deep of all the little crystals, with them embedding themselves in his skull. Despite this, Morro is still a master of his form, and it's not until the final siege of Terra that he finally lets go, basically "nega-saiyan", An already wounded Pionus is engaged by Morro, but Pionus is able to stall until Mortera arrives. Pionus retreats, and Morro engages Mortera, but is crushed. Nearly dead, he sacrifices his own soul he has been left behind, and finally lets himself be possessed by both N'Kari and Zarakynel, causing him to mutate to warhound size. He is able to cripple the mechanicum nearby, able to imbue the images of Slaaneshs birth even unto the mind of the machine, and to cause even logic engines to fail in sanity. Mortera is forced to retreat, now completely outmatched, and Pionus, alongside Hennasohn and the remainder of the "seccessionist" Drowned sacrifice themself, holding up Morro long enough until a Titan Group can dedicate their fire to him. It is here that Morro realises everything he has caused after the death of the two who he considered closest to, and despite Be'lakors urgency sends a plea to Slaanesh, who pulls him into the abyss. Be'lakor is left to look after himself, but is soon sent into the abyss by the combined firepower of a half dozen Titans. http://img2.wikia.nocookie.net/__cb20130220024946/darksiders/images/thumb/4/47/Darksiders_II_Wailing-host.jpg/500px-Darksiders_II_Wailing-host.jpghttp://vignette1.wikia.nocookie.net/pacificrim/images/3/36/Raiju_Concept.jpg http://cdn.superbwallpapers.com/wallpapers/fantasy/water-monster-15282-1920x1200.jpg After the siege, Morro regains his sanity, and his knowledge, fighting back the power of the twin daemons in his mind, but he needs to sustain himself on souls. Any soul will do, but preferably Eldar. he reaps his way through many territories, until he comes to Iona; Pionus' homeworld. Thinking Pionus dead, he sees little trouble in destroying it, but he is beaten back by an unknown creature, and his pod of super-behemoth whale things, as well as an Eldar strike force. Fleeing through the warp, Wraith-pionus is only able to track him with the help of the eldar taking him through the webway, and a strange figure, in the Red of the Thousand Sons to a to be decided world. Only Wraith-pionus survives the fight, casting Morro into the warp, leaving Morro unable to take Pionus' Soulstone, and gift it to Slaanesh for the release of his legion from the curse he has placed on them. His body is similar to that of the immense monster of the bottom, with a mishmash of all the above, such as the "fins" all the way down the body of the browny one, an eel like neck mounting a vaguely crocodilian head, but rather than a conventional jaw, it opens to reveal his true face; this time, it's not any monstrous face, but his true face, wracked by pain and agony. He cannot talk properly, as when he does so, a roiling mass of tentacles burst out of his mouth and nostrils, seemingly without control, causing what looks like agony/ecstasy. Instead, he talks telepathically, each person believing he is looking towards them. His "bioluminessence" matches time with what he's saying to each person, each person seeing the patterns differently. Hope that helps?
