Angrons Eaters of Worlds

I have finally decided to stop building up the walls of the Emperor’s Palace and join on the side of the Warmaster.

Too long have I been lobbing shells a distant foe time to get in while the knife is hot. And let loose Angrons Dogs of War

Here is a Fist test model for the Army that is going to start out as and orbital assault list just because If you want to get there in a hurry take the missile that gets fired onto a planet.

My main thoughts are

Not enough Blood (Angron would not be pleased)?

Should I do more battle damage (My Imperial Fists have more)?

Hazard Stripe or Blue Axe? My next test will have a hazard stripe

I am defiantly leaning towards changing the colour of the bolt pistol to black

Cheers

Blood levels are great. Don't go more than that, it overpowers the miniature.

More battle damage would look great. Angron and his boys rarely look clean, especially since they see battle damage as a kind of campaign honor.

Blue axe all the way. Especially if you battle damage it. The World Eaters wouldn't put hazard stripes on their stuff. I don't think many of them possess that nuanced of a sense of humor.

Go black if you want, but I feel like the blue pistol helps tie the model together. Just my opinion.

Great model!

The blue weapons made me chuckle - in the modern military sense, blue/orange on a weapon meant that it was an inert or nonlethal training variant.

- You don't need more blood. What you have is perfect.

- Battle damage is always cool. For starters, try adding some chipping effects.

- A black axehead would look great.

- Use black for the bolt pistol's casing. Add some weathering as well.

Awesome work, bro! As others have said, less is sometimes more when it comes to blood. The only time that I've painted a World Eater I kept the blood pretty minimal and I was happy with how it turned out. The same goes for weathering, but I'd definitely love to see at least some weathering on the World Eater. I probably went a bit overboard with the weathering on my World Eater :P

I'd also paint the pistol and axe either silver or black.

I've been considering a XII Legion Orbital Assualt army for a while, so I'm really looking forward to seeing how you go with these guys :tu:

Thanks for the feedback everyone.

I have finished the second test model. changed the weaopns to black and added weatheing. As i agree with everything that has been said.
